The movie itself stands out as an original sci-fi horror with incredible production design, but a lackluster ending. The Scream Factory release is incredible with the artwork and bonus features.

Great to see more scream factory and shout factory titles at Best Buy. Always worth the upgrade over the standard blu release. Especially with the new transfer on this one.

SiFi Horror for Intelligent Viewers. Builds Suspense without excessive gore. Veteran Leads carry the acting as there are minor stock characters that you just know are going to be eliminated. Learning curve is very prolonged as trusting the riskiest deadly suggestions takes some time for people to avoid.

Excellent science fiction horror film from Paul Anderson. Glad they didn't hold back in this one unlike in Mortal Kombat 1990s or Resident Evil 2002.

Fantastic conversion from the original negative, and the audio sounds phenomenal! Also, the movie was much better than I remember it being. Goofy, but fun and great atmosphere

The film is a bit dated w/the computer graphics but that doesn’t take you out of the story. The story is still as creepy as it was when I sat in my seat watching it the first time. The atmosphere remains haunting as you journey through each scene. Not a film for everyone

Alas, we will probably never see a director's cut, but this disc is great. The audio of the beginning credits shake the walls of my basement. Love it.

I saw this in the theater back in 1997. It was awesome to see it again, this time in high definition. The gore is done very well and adds to the crazy ending.

A space rescue mission is ruined onboard the Event Horizon. An underrated galactic horror film that makes perfect viewing around Halloween.

Paul Anderson took a (short) break from adapting video games into bad movies to make this; a big-budget version of that Hellraiser movie that took place in space. It's a good time, and I'm glad I can pull it off the shelf every few years.

And excellent film, and as packed as the best Scream Factory collector’s editions. It’s a shame the deleted scenes couldn’t be found, but this is as good a release as we’ll ever get for this film. Fans shouldn’t miss out of this release

Event Horizon was always one of the favorites when I was younger and the Scream Factory collector's edition is the best release yet.

Scream Factory did a really nice job with this new collector's edition transfer, with improvement to both video and audio. Unfortunately they weren't able to recover any of the lost footage that fans were hoping for, so no director's cut.

An Absolute Great Horror movie to add to my Library. This is a must purchase to start your collections. Great sound effects and film.

Again I'm always excited when Best Buy has Scream Factory blurays on the shelves and I found Event Horizon. I've never seen it so I decided to buy it because I will forever be a physical media buyer over streaming any day.

Very good quality blu ray transfer. Its a bit more cleaned up and natural looking compared to the original blu ray. There are a ton of special features on here. If you love this movie, this is aust own for the collection.

I love this movie I rest love the reversible cover art too and the slip cover was in great condition. Great sci-fi horror film.
