The acting is good but not great, but it's a cute love story. It one of my favorite movies. That's one of the reason I bought it.

I remember watching this movie back in 98-99 and enjoying the hell out of the changes to the Cinderella mythology. Years later I watched it again and the first thing that struck me was the length of the movie. The video transfer quality is not great but the movie is well worth watching with your significant other.

Its a nice love story . Its like a Cinderella story.

A unique spin on the much loved cinderella story. To keep a servant from being sent to the americas to help pay for her stepmothers debt, Danielle dresses abover her station and catches the eye of the prince in the process. He subsequently tries to spend time with her and they fall in love, but her stepmothers conniving ways separate them. Drew Barrymore and Dougray Scott's chemistry in the movie is undeniable and Anjelica Huston's portrayal of the "wicked stepmother" is flawless.

All I have to say to anyone who has never seen this movies, you have to if and oce you're a sucker for Romance believe me you will love it. Really really love. Buy it try it watch it and I know that you will love it.
