Great PSU got a nice price

850w is a bit too much for my rig but at the time of purchasing this was the best deal/value for me. I got a Ryzen 3, GTX 1060, an AIO water cooler, ssd, hdd, 5 fans and some RGB light. So this PSU is way overkill for me but it works beautifully. it supplies more than enough power. Its SUPER quite. Building a near silent system was one of the goals for this build besides having enough power to run modern game at good FPS (not going for 4k. 1080p was the target resolution for this build) So this PSU fits in just right. My old 500w had a terrible coil whine and I got this one while trying to RMA my old one because it got so loud that I was concerned about the rest of the parts if it failed. I ended up getting a replacement but I didn't bother putting it in and kept this PSU in this build. Cable management turned out to be real easy for the most part due to semi modular design. Had to play around with the motherboard power cable a bit to get my side panel on in the back. But that was more on my case then the PSU so no complaints there. Overall It's great. It will provide more then enough power unless you're going for an over the top build. Cable management is a breeze, and it will run near silent. So I would recommend it any day.

Excellent PSU for the money. Worked for my 2U Rosewill rackmount case. Replaced a cheap Thermaltake 650 that was causing disk power problems. I even had to email EVGA to see if I could use a molex cable I had from a previous EVGA PSU and they confirmed compatibility for me. Great company, great hardware. I have EVGAs in my most important rigs. Can't go wrong with this one. Also - Whisper quiet, especially if you don't need all that wattage.

This is an excellent power supply. Bought 2 of them when they were on a sale/clearance for $65. You can't beat a semi-modular 850w 80 Plus Bronze name brand power supply. Been very happy with them in my wife's and my systems. I am not pushing them extremely hard though with a Ryzen 1600x, RX580, and about 6 drives being powered. Even less in my wife's rig. Been chugging away happily with no hiccups for a year and a half now. Would highly recommend. Hopefully I won't have to replace them for another 5-8 years.

I recently got the EVGA 850W Modular BQ Power Supply in black, and it's been a great addition to my Alienware R6. It's more powerful and can handle a lot of power needs, but it's also louder and costs more than some other options. Pros: 1. The power supply is really strong and can handle many power-hungry devices. 2. It's good for computers that need a lot of power, like gaming PCs or workstations. Cons: 1. One downside is that it's pretty loud, which can be annoying when trying to sleep with it on. 2. It's a bit more expensive than other power supplies, but it's worth it for the extra power. Even though it has a couple of cons, I think the EVGA 850W Modular BQ Power Supply is a great choice for anyone who needs a strong and reliable power supply. It gets 5 stars from me because of how well it works and how much power it can handle. Just keep in mind that it might be too loud for some people, especially if you need to sleep near your computer.

Is you're using a 3070 or up card you'll need to plug in a second cord to power the graphics card but dont worry, it comes with extras. Plug in and play, doesnt het any easier than that!

Great EVGA power supply for mining

850w modular. Rated Bronze, but has at least a 3 year warranty I think. Plenty good for me. I just wish the price would go back down. I bought a couple when they were $99. I bought one on sale for $80, but now they are like $119. So I bought an EVGA 750w Bronze last time, since it was only ~$75. I use these to power my Ethereum mining rigs and they work perfect. I also know there is a warranty if something happens, but so far so good!

Power Up Your PC Without Stress

Okay, so you want to build a gaming PC or upgrade one, and you need a power supply (that’s the part that gives electricity to all your PC parts). The EVGA 850W Modular BQ is a solid choice that won’t make you pull your hair out. Why This Is Good Even If You Don’t Know What You’re Doing 850 watts of power means it can run most gaming setups, even with a strong graphics card. That’s plenty of juice. Modular design means you only use the cables you need. This keeps your PC inside neat and clean—no mess of wires everywhere. It’s made by EVGA, a brand known for making good, reliable power supplies, so you don’t have to worry about your PC frying. The cables are pretty long and labeled, so hooking it up is easy. Just plug the cables where they say, no guesswork. It’s fairly quiet—fans only kick in when your PC is working hard, so it won’t sound like a jet engine. What You Should Know It’s a bit more than you need if you’re just building a super basic PC without a gaming graphics card. You might need to double-check your PC case fits it since it’s a full-sized power supply. Who Should Get This? First-time PC builders who want a no-fail power supply Gamers with mid-to-high-end graphics cards Anyone who wants a reliable, quiet power source without breaking the bank Bottom Line If you want a power supply that’s easy to use, powerful enough for gaming, and won’t clutter your PC with cables, the EVGA 850W Modular BQ is a great pick. It’s simple, solid, and won’t leave you guessing what cable goes where. In short: Plug it in. Power your PC. Game on.

    Best Bang for your Buck

This power supply isn't usually what I would normally buy and put into one of my builds but since I'm footing the bill to build my daughter a mid range gaming pc, this works perfectly! It has plenty of power for any future upgrades or add-ons and is mostly modular with the exception of the power cables that you have to use anyway which is one of the reasons this beast is such a great buy. I was also very happy that best buy had the best price on it and it was in stock at my store which was just another reason I jumped on this deal while they had it on sale and I had some points to use towards this purchase to make it just a bit sweeter deal! The only downfall might be the bronze rating which really isn't that big of a deal and I doubt that you will notice the difference between this and the more expensive gold rated power supply in your electric bill. These still have all the bells and whistles of there big brother without as big a hit to your wallet. So if your in the market for a new power supply then you definitely should consider the EVGA BQ models as they are well worth the price!

Solid PSU, and a welcome upgrade over my previous 600 watt Thermaltake PSU. I purchased a new video card for my 2nd desktop PC. Noticed the PSU would get loud, and card wasn't performing at the same level with the O.C as reviewers. Checked online abit, while my total power consumption was 505 watts from the wall. This was consuming over 80% of my previous PSU capabilities. Not sure if the PSU would throttle thus reducing overall performance. So I looked at 750 watts Gold, this would have given me almost 30% head room to work with. This unit came on sale for around the same cost as the 750 watt unit made more sense. 850 watt increasing my headroom to around 40%, so when I upgrade, newer cards shouldn't pose much of a problem. Overall, happy with O.C stability, and performance, 5 out of 5!

Extremely pleased, this is running my VR rig with everything clocked to the max I can push it. It's pulling 400 watts of power running Prime, MSI kombustor and valley all at the same time. Voltages stayed extremely stable after hours of runtime in 72 degree Fahrenheit thermostat set temps in the room at the time of the test. Here's my setup: Asrock z370 extreme4.
