Great Card but not really worth the extra money over a GTX 1080/ti if you dont care about RTX features.

I switched from an RX580 to the 2070. While it was an upgrade, Im not sure it was truly worth the price difference for the slight gain in FPS. I’m hoping to find some better settings to possibly improve the FPS more.

The card, costing $650 after taxes, is placed inside of this weird foam box to make it seem “top shelf”. Installed fine, but the best I could do was 1440p at 60hz on a 4K display. After an update released today the drivers would not let me get better than 1440p @ 30hz on Dying Light. Running a Core i5 @ 3.9 GHz with 16GB DDR4 RAM on an excellent Asus z170-AR board with Corsair 750 watt PS. This is disappointing af and way too troublesome for the price. True 4K gaming should be here by now. If you want to buy this card, come see me first bc I’ll give you a real good deal right now on this bridge.

Burned out after 1 year. No overclocking. I7-9700k 32 GB DDR3600.
Moderate Game use - No CPU overclocking. 5 Fans in case 3 in and 2 out and a liquid cooler(2 in).
Smelled funny then following day super bad like burning plastic and it froze up my computer. Then noticed RGB wasnt on. Put on integrated Z390 Pro Carbon AC so i could work until i find replacement - Prob going to go Radeon - Never had a GPU break in<1year. Love capitalism - choices....

Watch U tube videos of all types of 2070s this one seem to be the better one for cooling was going to get the MSI gaming Z but I all ready had all the drivers ready for this one I am replacing 2 GTX 1070 I have been running in SLI as of late SLI is more of a problem then I want to deal with this card rocks in VR and any game I throw at it with temps staying under 50c I never here the fans run only thing that I did not care for was paying 599 for it but this one has the better GPU in the 400A I am running a 15-9600k ROG 390Z gaming MOFO 32 ram at 3000 280mm corsair water cooler

Have had it for almost 4 years and still running strong playing most games in 1440p with medium to high settings. Stills get on average 80 to 144fps is every game with a little tweaking. Great budget card to buy if you want a nice mid build in today’s climate

I purchased this card back in May of 2019, grabbed it straight off the shelf in the middle of the day, and it hasn't let me down since. I'm aware that it's outdated hardware at this point, but even for the latest games, I have almost no issues running on ultra settings at 1080p, usually always pushing 100-144 fps. With Ray Tracing on, it definitely varies, but I have been able to get most RTX enabled games to run smoothly, anywhere from 60-100fps most of the time. No experience with 1440p, but I've heard good things. I wouldn't expect this card to do very well with 4k, but that's what the 30 Series is for right? Overall it has served me exceptionally well, and I'll be sad to see it go on that fateful day when I finally score a 30 Series.
