The PSU draws maximum 25A while my apartment supports 20A only. Power tripped whenever I turned on the switch of the psu. Probably my own fault, but I still give it 1 star to draw the attention as the current draw was not given in spec and 20A circuit break is pretty common in US.

For this outrageous price you get the following: 1. Low quality engineering 2. poorly designed cables and heads. 3. Loud fan *you can turn eco on but the loud fan noise still comes and goes.

Ive been using the 1600 supernova for 3 years now, easily powers my threadripper and 4090! Make sure you have this bad boy plugged into a USP, i would recommend you always have your pc and electronics plugged through a USP, but this one its even more important. With great power comes great responsibility.

Must use on 20 amp breaker

If you have an older house or live in an apartment with 15 amp breakers it may cause breaker issues. On a 20 amp outlet works fine but on a 15 it caused issues. Hope this helps

I'm addition to their poor customer service these power supplies are garbage out of the box. Two units smoked and tried the breaker immediately. Installed a Corsair and no problems. AVOID EVGA, they are absolutely the worst.
