best product since digital tv can get tons of free channels without paying cable charges easy to navigate voice commands easy installation bought an antenna too but returned it since so many channels already through roku device local channels available by downloading app hardest part was remembering my wi-fi password

We needed such a device to make an older tv smart. Setup was quick and completed with no difficulty. All functions work as advertised and we're happy with the product.

Easy setup, easy to use. Love the voice remote's ability to control power and volume on the TV; I can usually keep the TV's remote safely stored aside. I use these on a couple of older non-smart TVs and it really makes them feel like smart TVs! Additionally, this little box is often a better performer than the built in smart functions on many smart tvs, so it's still a worthwhile upgrade even there! I've bought three of this model so far, and am very impressed. Little to no lag, regular updates to OS and apps, excellent streaming performance.

Works great! We weren't sure what to expect and were skeptical. We didn't realize there were so many free channels just with Roku. We watch Pluto's free programs/movies a lot, but also did add a subscription service (FRNDLY) that is very reasonable and has been worth the money. We have the midrange service of FRNDLY and paid it annually to save money so, out the door annual cost for FRNDLY was about $102 for the year, which included taxes. Roku is great streaming/on-demand equipment and even had free channels.

Perfect little device. Easy to use and take with you on the road. Load times are fast and quality is good. Remote feels solid compared to the older versions.

I needed to replace and older Roku in my son's room. I can certainly tell this is a newer model. The lag is noticably decreased. Picture is fantastic. Every streaming service or network is available. I have one on every TV in our home (3). The voice input works fast and flawlessly. As the title says, I have nothing to compare it to. I can't imagine another brand could be any better, especially for the price. I highly recommend this model.

Super easy to install and use. All the apps I love are already loaded and ready to go. I have an older tv so I was worried about it not being 4K and it wasn’t an issue. Very clear picture

I spent nearly $1000 on our living room TV around 8 years. Although the picture quality on it is great, the user interface has really slowed down over the years to the point where you would press a button on the remote and would have to wait around 2-3 seconds before the tv responded. Solution: Just plug one of these Roku's in, ditch the old tv remote, and just use this! TV now runs better than it did when it was new! Also, I like how it gives you the ability to customize the background of the homepage and add animated screensavers.

I had bought the 4k stick, but it somehow wasn't compatible with my tv using the HDMI eARC channel to connect the TV to my receiver. This device is pretty comparable -- the only difference is that the stick came with an RF remote, which didn't require line-of-sight, like the IR remote that comes with the express. Transmits in 4k and has a stronger processor than the non-4k Express it replaced. Plus the remote has a microphone, so you can open apps, turn on/off closed captioning, etc. by voice. Great deal at $27. For the record, Best Buy is a lousy retailer. Service is slow, online ordering is a hassle -- especially if you're trying to get something price-matched (which, in the end, they couldn't do), and order pick-up was totally dysfunctional. And managers are rude if you have the least bit of concern about their service. The rating is purely for the product, not for Best Buy as seller.

Streaming player was easy to install and works as advertised. Easy to use with lots of apps available. Also controls TV volume and On/Off. Excellent picture quality.

It works great. It has cut out my cable bill which was costing me over 200.00 a month for basic cable.I recommend this way to save on monthly bill. Love it!

My smart TV quit streaming You-tube TV. Don't know why? Purchased Roku device. Easy set-up. Works as advetised.

This is awesome! I hesitated for years to get a Roku, thinking setup and use would be complicated, but it's really very simply and lets my kids access everything we have subscriptions to, and more. I rarely watch tv, but I still think the purchase is worth it.

I got this about a year ago and have had zero issues with it. It's easy to use and after adjusting the settings to fit my 4k TV the picture and sound works really well. I bought it solely for the Crunchyroll app as my Samsung Smart TV didn't have that app and find myself using it more than my Samsung apps nowadays.

Everything to love about Roku in a small streamlined package. Great for adding to smaller tvs or for blending into the profile of the tv with the included sticky pad you can attach it to the bottom of a tv and it just blends in. You can program the remote to control volume and power on the tv eliminating the need for multiple remotes.
