The tv would only download the Netflix app. With the Roku, I can download Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, Prime and a whole lot of others

But it is a thousand times better than the fire stick by Amazon.

A couple times it loses the HDMI signal and I need to unplug cable and plug back in, but that's the only problem so far. Bought this to get rid of my monthly cable digital box on an extra TV. Now I watch it through the Xfin*** app.

Good wifi performance and a plethora of apps to choose from. Also accepts ethernet via an external SMAYS device (see Youtube for details).
