Bought NEW Roku, but received USED

The only reason this is getting one star, is because I purchased a NEW Roku from Best Buy and was packaged as new. When we installed it, we found it was actually a USED Roku with someone else’s email attached to it. We were able to reset it and start over, but it was a hassle during the hook up. Because of the shortage Best Buy was experiencing, we did not take the time to return it.

Voice remote was complicated as it required user to setup a separate roku channel for every show you tried to voice command. Returned this and got chromcast w/ voice remote - much better. Geek squad training/troubleshooting also helped.

Have used Roku for years. This Roku4K+ constantly gives me a message that it needs more power. Have followed all the recommendations to correct it and it still gives me the message. There is no customer service for Roku.

Had a fire stick that we used to operate our TV, now with the Roku coverage comes & goes, very frustrating. Contacted my cable provider (Metronet) and there are no issues with my feed coming into my house.

Unplug & plug in again EVERY DAY you use it! Roku does NOT offer solution to this problem for at least 2 years. If you keep your TV on 24/7, it will work! Otherwise, after a certain number of hours, it turns off and must be re-started. DON'T BUY!!

Terrible device do not purchase, you can not connect your volume from your tv to it, even though I followed the directions. Also ever I used my room for my fan it would turn my tv on / off To much interference POOR DESIGN

Works flawlessly made my TV look new ,
It's a 5 year old TV and now it looks crisp
All the apps and great free TV channels nice set up nice menu you can change a lot of settings you can fully customize this device super smooth very fast , remote controls both TV and the Roku device love the side buttons so you know where to go right away for volume while laying in the dark in on the bed .

Roku was extremely difficult to use and did not get the channels needed. I returned these units after a few days. The firestick is a far superior product. Returned these.

I already have a Roku Premier that works great and gets 5 stars.
This one simply fails after watching one video and needs to be rebooted. I will be attempting to return it; I hope it is just a lemon in the manufacturing run.

Not impressed at all! It was suggested by the Spectrum salesman to purchase this, which I did. It “buffers” on me every night; consequently, I have no picture. Very frustrating!!
