But am glad that TotalTech had it with them. It works fine, however the design is poor. The volume control is on the right lateral SIDE of the remote. When you pick it up if not careful the mute can be hit or volume changes unintentionally. That of course is not Best Buy’s responsibility

It looks really simple -- almost too simple --but it is not intuitively obvious, and of course there are no instructions in the package. This makes finding the programming you want, or might be interested in, very difficult and frustrating experience. As a result, I hardly use it at all. Just stayed on with my cable company, which I'd wanted to get rid of. I would have returned the device but over the short 15-day return period at Best Buy, I was in bed recovering from major surgery.

I Hate Best Buy! Incompetent stupid heads! I am going the store to buy a Roku and then just return the other when it finally comes. Which is what I should have done I the first place. The unfair policies no canceling after the first 30 minutes, but I didn't they would be so frickin' incompetent at delivery after the first 30 minutes. Now I want to cancel and pick it up at the store but those Stupid heads won't let me. This is not fair! Instead I have wait forever for it to arrive and it might never arrive like the last time I was screwed over by Best Buy where it took 9 days just to tell my order was delayed and then tried to make me wait another ten days. Best Buy sucks! I hate Best Buy! I am never shopping there again!

Con's - Everything else, will not keep connection, drops WiFi after 10 mins, after 1 hour, after 5mins, etc. I've done every recommended fix, WiFi channel settings, reboots, unplug HDMI, unplug power, update Roku, Restart Roku, set Roku back to factory settings. Other than plug directly to Ethernet which is the whole point of me buying this streamer being wireless. After 3 days I give up, I am returning this item and I WILL NEVER by a ROKU product again.

We already have two Roku smart tv's so it seemed like the way to go. It worked fine until I shut the tv off. When I would turn it back on, the Roku would keep giving me error code 20, which wouldn't go away until I rebooted the device which made it unusable. Apparently this is a big problem for these devices which Roku does not have a fix for. It seemed to be linked to the software update that it does as soon as it gets plugged in. I ended up exchanging it for a Fire stick which works great!

Posted .Hi MJKM, thanks for letting us know about your experience. An Error Code 20 is usually the result of an HDCP error, which can be caused from a non-compatible HDMI cable. Were you using the HDMI cable that was provided with your Express 4K+ player? Not all HDMI cables are created equally, so using a different HDMI cable can cause or resolve this error code.

Short life, Roku unresponsive

I have other Roku devices that do not exhibit anywhere near the problems that this device has since it's started going down hill. What makes it even worse is Roku's lack of support and willingness to stand behind their product. Instead, they have you spending a ridiculous amount of time troubleshooting your network (which works fine with their other devices).
