So glad we cut the cord! The Roku Express 4k+ provides a lot of content alone. Set up is fast and very easy. The remote works very well and is simple. It does require some trial and error or a google search or two in order to become more familiar with how it works. We should have purchased this years ago and saved a ton of money.

I picked this up as my new travel player. I used it all week at a Marriott property, and it worked flawlessly. This is not simply the old Express with 4K support added. It uses a newer, more powerful CPU, has far more memory, and simply doesn't compare with the original Express. Hotel connect worked perfectly, and even with the hotel WiFi giving me only about 9 Mbps I had no issues watching anything on YouTube, HBO Max, Disney+, or streaming from my home Plex server. I like it better than the Stick, as I don't have to worry about enough space to connect the Stick directly to the TV. Also, with the short HDMI cable that it comes with, it allows more placement options. Just don't expect it to power off the TV's USB port successfully. Very few TVs have enough power in their USB ports to power a Roku. In addition, don't forget it has the ability to use a USB to Ethernet adapter. That makes it on par with the Roku Ultra, which is the only player with Ethernet. The only thing missing is support for Dolby Vision. For that, you have to get the Ultra 4800.

works how I wanted. able to turn tv on and off via arc.able to be used while this is hidden in a drop ceiling. personally using this with a 1080p tv, great performance for the price. My Roku soundbars (I have both the streambar and streambar pro) and they lag on the 4k tvs. was worried about it since its so much cheaper but my guess is the upscaler in the roku cause processor lag when utilized on 4k tvs

It’s been perfect. It took a little bit to set it up because I bought a Fire tv but it works very well. Only one remote needed.

Good, reliable quality. Provides entertainment for the family. We mostly use this with youtube TV and to access our amazon TV and Hulu subscriptions.

This is one great little streaming gadget. It is VERY easy to set up, and exactly what we needed to breathe some smart TV life into an older but still great Sony LED TV. If you need a streaming media player, I highly recommend this. I also got it on sale, so that was a bonus!

The Roku works very well. It was easy to install and add apps to it. Remote works great. My only complaint is the remote does not light up so you have to memorize its buttons. Would definitely purchase this product again.

This is probably the most affordable 4K streamer on the market. It works like a Roku. It's snappy and has all of the popular streaming services. No idea why you would pay more for other non-gaming 4K streamers. It's cheaper than AppleTV and navigation is far less confusing than FireTV. I have no complaints about this device.

I have been using older version of Roku Stick and Roku Premier plus since 2016. It seems like this Roku Express 4K+ is faster than the older Premier plus. Quality is similar. The remote control works better as well.

This is much smaller than our older model and attaches to the TV. It attaches to the TV frame which keeps it off of the stand. It works great with our new 4K TV. Voice activated searching works well. I recommend it.

This was to upgrade an older Roku that was acting a little flaky and lacking some features found on current models. I'm enjoying the newer features - the volume control on the Roku remote became an immediate favorite - something I'd never want to go without again. It quickly installed the apps I already had associated with my Roku account and is working superbly - the speed increase from my previous model is very nice. I continue to be amazed at how many apps I can load compared to other streaming devices - I've got over 200 and still have never received a 'low storage' warning that I get with a couple dozen apps installed on other brands. Awesome little gadget at an awesome price.

Easy set up. Easy use. Small package. I’d recommend using the glue strip attached to it to mount it to your device so it doesn’t wiggle around but that’s it.

Great substitute for cable. Easy to set up and use.

ii had to upgrade prior roku since updates were not working it was an old one works great

The Roku was quite easy to set up. I am very pleased with how fast it connected with my internet. The quality of the picture is very nice. I have a subscription to Spectrum cable TV and internet. I am able to get my full cable subscription on my bedroom TV with the Roku device without coax cables or boxes. Thanks

Easy to install and stations came up fast, clear and a bunch of them. Very happy with this item and the cost. Freed me from the cable company

Overall nice product. Converted my "dumb" tv into a smart tv. Only complaint I have with it is I need to hit the home button to get the menu to come up after turning on the tv. Not sure if that is an issue with my "dumb" tv or the roku device itself. Either way, its a good product & works great!
