I've recently started streaming with my tablet and a Chromecast. It was working fine. Then I got this Roku. Now I know what easy really is. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Just, easy. And it works great!

Streaming option to cut the cable cord. Was very simple to set up and I am not tech savvy.

Easy to set up. Love how equally easy to sync TV controls. Also love the included Velcro to hide the unit behind the TV cabinet. I also love how convenient it was to download my favorite channels like NASA TV.

I have 3 smart TVs from Best Buy. 3 older flat tvs I didn’t have to replace to stream and dump “cable” I made them smart with the super easy $40 device within minutes. Now everything is streaming capable.

Switch over to ROKU from cable and love it. Idk why but the screen savers when not watching tv when on is so peaceful to me .

The Roku Remotes i got them as Replacents. All my friends ask me what to get i tell them Roku is the best.

This is my second of these. The first was bought right after this model was introduced a few months ago, and I decided to buy another to finish up our collection of TVs with a consistent interface. My first replaced a streaming stick, which after a couple of years seemed prone to lag and overheating. I'm not doing 4K on either, so the extra CPU overhead hopefully means it can work a little less hard and not push the thermal envelope. Plus compared to the stick the express case allows for some breathing and a little distance from the TV. This model has been snappy and dependable. Unlike other Express units this one has the RF remote with TV controls. For $30 (on sale, which is frequent) it's a no-brainer.

Much faster than the previous gen. Power, volume and voice control features on the remote are nice improvements.
