Great game, amazing graphics and a fun, interactive story line. I played on an Xbox One and at times it had trouble with the fps, but only rarely in open world and a few times in combat with multiple bad guys.

This games is AWESOME. It is definitely a game of the year contender if not a lock. The only game I think that could beat it out is Metal Gear. Fallout has great gameplay and story hands down a great game

All the Good Parts of Fallout 3 and Skyrim...

Bethesda usually doesn't do much wrong when it comes to its Fallout and Elder Scrolls series. Better still, they improve upon each previous version with the next. All the good parts of Elder Scrolls Oblivion were put into Fallout 3. Fallout 3's good traits were incorporated into Skyrim. Now Skyrim takes everything good about it and puts it into Fallout 4, complete with the next-gen shine that makes you wonder how good their next game will be. The game itself is addicting. I've put well over a day into it and have yet to progress my story outside of my first town. There's enough in this game to sidetrack you, and just when you think you've done all there is the game has to offer, something new is thrown in.

Great graphics, entertaining story, and customizable world! It provides more than ample amount of entertainment and story quests to help you forget the fact that this game is not online compatable.

Fallout is an outstanding series full of wonderful surprises and great gameplay. Fallout 4 is a great game. But like any other Bethesda game, the releases can be buggy and down right game breaking. On 3 different save files, I've experience game breaking glitches. NPCs that don't move or get stuck eternally. Falling through the map. I found that Fallout 4 on XBone and Ps4 perform way better with good hard drives. In case for XBone, Fallout 4 performs better installed in a external USB 3.0 HDD and in the Xbox One Elite console which has a hybrid SDHDD. However, Fallout 4 is still beautiful and amazing. The vast wasteland is immersive and wonderful, while having a few qualms with it. The RPG elements of New Vegas and 3 have been stripped down a few notches. The conversations are less narrative driven. On its own standing, Fallout 4 is a game for Fallout fans that can live without some things. However, the game is still impressive scale wise and gameplay wise. If you love exploring, crafting houses like Minecraft, tower defense like mechanics, and great action. Fallout 4 is for you.

Amazing game, more than a sequel. Previous editions of this story are their own categories of wow, but this goes above and beyond. Graphics, story, characters, environment - all add up to amazing.

There aren't too many games that are released nowadays that have a great storyline and campaign, but fallout 4 does. This game has many hours of single player game play. There is no online gameplay that I am aware of. The only thing that doesn't make it 5 stars is that I wish the graphics would have been better.

This game is lots of fun, with tons of areas to explore. I think it's the best of all the fallout games. You don't need to play the other 3 to have fun with this one (doesn't affect story line).

The game is awesome. It's very easy to lose track of time because there's so much to do. However, it would be impossible to know all the things you can do without first doing your research online (e.g. building sanctuaries, how to level up properly, etc). Otherwise, it IS a great single player game.

This is a great game that can easily take up 100 hours of your life. If you are buying it then you have probably already played a Bethesda RPG, which is now synonymous with the pinnacle of modern western RPG's. It can be buggy and janky, but that is to be expected with a game of this much stuff to do.

The game was exciting and has amazing graphics. It was action packed and kept my son busy for hours after he got it for a holiday gift. It is certainly a game for older kids and even the big adult kids like playing it. With limited games for the Xbox one, I definitely recommend this game for others.

This is the first installment of fallout that I've had the opertunity to play and it didn't visually blow my mind compared to arkam night or assassins creed but the story was fast passed and easily engulfed my mind!!! Give it a chance and I'm sure you'll love it. This is a 3rd person open world game!

    A departure from previous Fallouts

I'm a fan of fallout, so while this sounds like it is trashing the game, it isn't simply stating what is different. If you've played Fallout Shelter, it clues you into what is in store. The main focuses are building and maintaining settlements, modifying weapons and armor and Power Armor- all which require extensive scavenging. Weapons are reminiscent of Elder Scrolls- the more powerful they are, the heavier they are, leading to unlikely thinks such as 20 lb assault rifles and 17lb SMGs. Power armor is more like a mech in this iteration. It is the only thing that degrades through use and must be repaired. It requires fuel and can be modified. Regrettably, gone is Hardcore mode from New Vegas, so food, water and sleep are completely optional and you can carry 3000 rnds of ammo with no restrictions. If you are looking for something that combines the best of Skyrim and New Vegas, or if you live in the Boston area you will be disappointed. If you are looking for a new take on the post apocalyptic genre, you will be amused.

Once again I've played a game that is better than my actual life. I'm a simple man at my core. Exquisite cheeses and fine wine? Not for this man. Throw me a KoRn dawg, a NOS, and a copy of Fallout 4, or as I like to call it, Apocolypse Skyrim, and I'm set. I dove headfirst into this game like Michael Phelps into a freshwater pond. In fact, I lost my job at Platos Closet because I wouldn't stop trying to level up in real life. But honestly that place sold out a long time ago and I'm not about that. The TJ Maxx next door was hiring anyway. I haven't applied yet though. Anyway, this game is more awesome than my friend, "Awesome Dave", and that guys rad.

This is a very fun and engrossing game that defies genre. It's part open world exploration, part action, part RPG, and part Minecraft! The only thing preventing me from giving this a 5 star review is that it is very buggy. In a few updates, it will undoubtedly be one of my all time favorites.

Take everything you loved about Fallout 3 and throw in a much more engaging story and compelling characters and you're close to Fallout 4. There have been major tweaks to the way Fallout 3 plays - a voiced protagonist, and minor - VATS aiming no longer stops time, only slows it, among others, but I found them all welcome. Like every good Bethesda game, there's so much to see, do and explore, with the added benefit of being able to build and organize your own settlements out in the wastelands around Boston. The game isn't perfect - the graphics aren't as amazing as, say, Witcher 3 but they certainly get the job done. Also the game is prone to bugs which range from minor to gamebreaking. I've not encountered any of the latter, but for example I need to make sure I save twice before I finish a session, as the top save file invariably becomes corrupted. Still, with its minor warts, Fallout 4 has kept me entertained for hours and hours and if you were a fan of Fallout 3, I definitely recommend Fallout 4.

Having put well over 100+ hours into Fallout 3 and about the same number for Fallout New Vegas, this game has delivered more of the same. Now yes the story is new and I will concede that it so far not as robust as the previous chapters but it is still very fun to roam the wasteland and see what you find. The jokes are hidden in this game just like the others, the sly references to history are in there too. Best part to me is the ability to build settlements. You can if you want and it adds a small base building element to the game. While it is not critical it does have it parts to play. If you liked the last few you'll love this too.
