One of my favourite shooters of all time, Far Cry 3 has an amazing story, beautiful visuals, excellent gameplay/replayability and not to mention the greatest character ever created in any medium - Vaas Montenegro. Seriosly, Michael Mando is bloody brilliant. IMHO, five stars are not nearly enough.

Graphics are very good. Entretaining game play with enough of a challenge to keep your interest.

i purchased this game around a month back and completed it in 2 weeks time.i thought the content was little less. should have got few more days out of it.anyways the game has good graphics and lot of options to explore the island .

Very fun open world FPS game with crafting and a fairly decent story.

I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline for FarCry3. You and some buddies are skydiving in a third world country when you are abducted by drug lords. You escape and are trained by a local mercenarie. Love how you earn skills to be a better player as the game goes on. Missions become a little stale after a while though.

Incredible game! From the opening scene where you are trying to escape from a prison to the awesome ending where you literally blow everything up in sight, the game is pure fun. Great story line, very open-ended (sandbox), great graphics, tons of unlockables. Game reminds me of Red Dead Redemption but in a jungle environment with modern weapons. Definitely recommend this game.

I wish I could just play his game all day long! Great graphics, fun game play, challenging but not overly complicated.

Game was hard at first. Once you gather up a good set of weapons and craft your things, you can rule all over those pirates! Highly recommend

I like this game so much, I’ve been playing it for 40 hours and still playing. There is so much to do in this game you are sure to find something that fits your style of gamer. You want some action? Then play the campaign. You like to hunt? Then take a bow and go in the woods. You like to drive different vehicles? Take anyone on the map and have fun. You like quests? Then take the journey of finding all the relics on the maps. You want to fly? Take a kite and enjoy the view. I could go on and on but just buy the game you won’t regret it.

Far Cry 3 (PS3) is an excellent first-person shooter worthy every penny. Great graphics, engaging storyline and gameplay.

Far Cry 3 is an open world FPS fan's dream come true, for the most part. You won't find much value in the multiplayer, and the ending isn't a great wrap-up to the single player campaign, but everything else is super fun. If you ever wanted to simultaneously knife-kill two guys from a hang glider, this is the game for you. Think Just Cause 2 + Skyrim + dubstep and you've got Far Cry 3. Not a bad combo.

It's important that every game can standalone in case the player did not have the chance to play the games earlier in the series. With Far Cry 3, this is accomplished since the first Far Crys were not "next or current gen." This game is a lot of fun because it combines a first person shooter with the open world concept.

Far Cry 3 is a great sandbox style first person shooter. I enjoyed exploring the island and most of the missions. I will say to buy the disc version; the digital download suffers from terrible screen tearing. You'll get that occasionally with the disc but it's not as bad. This game is definitely not for kids.

Good game. I'm still trying to catch up on the series. Next on the list is Farcry 4. Can't wait.
