The advertised game is the standard blue case, when the game arrived it was the "Playstation Hits" version. Which is considerably cheaper and not as nice to have in my collection.

If you've played the Far Cry series before, you already know. If you haven't you need to. This is the best installment yet of the Far Cry franchise. Great story, and some of the most fun to play gameplay of any game out there. Doesn't get old fast, and definitely the type of game worth revisiting (and that's coming from a guy who doesn't usually replay games)

The story is a little bland in Far Cry 4, but the game play and side missions are a blast. I found myself just wondering around between missions just to see what I could discover in the huge open world. The mission types are varied and keep the gun play exciting even with out having a griping story. Think of it like skyrim with guns and you will know what you are getting into. If you like skyrim buy it, if not pass.

This is an amazing game. It has an AMAZING storyline, amazing graphics, amazing free-play open world. The story is very emotional and the choices you have to make will stick with you. I played it 3 times to do the different storylines. I absolutely love this game. It never get's old. Farcry Primal doesn't even compare to Farcry 4.

This open world FPS packs in a lot of entertainment. Discovering and exploring the world around you leads to all sorts of adventures. The missions can be a bit repetitive, but I did find them mostly fun. The story was poorly written and I had more fun just creating battles and discovering locations than I did going through the story missions and choices. The humor in this game is great!

This game has lots of content. The story is fun to follow and the game play is fast pace but easy to learn. If you like first person shooters and open worlds this is the game for you. The best part of it is that for non-story line missions you can play coop with a friend which makes it even more fun.

The game draws you in really quickly, and there is a lot of action for a FPS (the wing suits are a really fun addition). There are multiple choices throughout the game which shape the geography of the map and campaign progression. It's a great story line, the game play is pretty smooth, the skinning/crafting system is challenging while not being overwhelming, picking your own direction to take on objectives is interesting too (AC style stealth while baiting animals to attack for you vs CoD style assault with groups of humans/AI). Beyond the main story there is a lot of side stuff that you can get lost down the rabbit hole pretty quick. Fun game, and I'll end up beating it again soon.

This is a game that just keeps getting better. The in-game world is huge. New gameplay additions. Story is actually quite nice. Hard to put down. Graphics are amazing !! Definitely worth a try!!

I was a big fan of Far Cry 3 on PS3 and when Far Cry 4 came out, it was a must have game once I got the PS4 around black friday. This is a great open world shooter with gorgeous graphics, solid story and at a real nice price.

They simply expanded on the already great Far Cry 3. Kept everything that was awesome and just added more. Imagine storming an enemy outpost RIDING AN ELEPHANT, while using a grenade launcher! Over 60 different weapons, tons of wildlife to hunt, and enemies to shoot. Can go ninja-stealth mode or roll in weapons hot. HUUUUGE map you get to navigate using small 1 man helicopters and fast travel between all conquered posts. Tons of stuff to do and replay value is incredibly high.

Ehh, it's okay but sorta not okay Game sorta iffy on playing again.

I had a great time with Far Cry 4. I liked that the developers went with a different area other than the United States or Europe, Kyrat was a breath of fresh mountain air (pun intended). Far Cry 4 gas a great story that makes it hard to choose who to side with. To my surprise, there were no loading screens as I flew across Kyrat in my gyro-copter, making game immersion seem-less. The missions were fun, challenging and at times difficult. I would love to go back into the world Kyrat if they chose to continue Ajay's struggle in the next Far Cry.

Far Cry 4 is outstanding! Graphics are great, story is great, co-op is TOP NOTCH! Need more games like this on the market. Buy this game!

The game mechanics are fun and very rewarding. I enjoyed hunting animals and also feeling hunted by said animals. The open world really made the experience AWESOME. One second you might be trying to infiltrate a base when suddenly a tiger pounces onto you from the bushes. The story on the other hand is SUPER weak with nothing really driving the player to actually complete the game since there is such a disconnect between the main character and your allies. I actually just stopped following the story and going off to collect things, only coming back to the story when I needed something unlocked.

Far Cry 4 continues on w/ everything that made Far Cry 3 Amazing. Gameplay is a delight, the world is gorgeous, and the COOP is very cool. The short coming is the characters themselves, and a much needed 3rd path to choose from. Pagan Min who is terrific, is basically absent from the game after the beginning. Occasionally he will talk to you over the walkie, but its simply feels Handsome Jack esque. Its a shame considering how brutal and believably scary Vaas was from 3. All and all, good fun game, but ultimately a little disconnected from the story and characters.

Looks great, and plays fantastic on the PS4, highly recommend for fans of open world games.

Okay first things first: if you got bored very quickly with Far Cry 3 then this game isn't for you. IF you sunk plenty of hours into it though and are interested in a bit more of the same with a much better story line attached you're clear for take-off. This game isn't new by any means now, but with current price drops and sales it's a great pickup @ the sales / clearance pricing it gets regularly.
