This game has a lot of improvements over FARCRY 5. The map is smaller and everything looks different. Excellent sequel to FARCRY 5.

Felt like the stories are the same although obviously they are not but it is so repetitive that it just makes me feel this way. The variety of animals are a nice touch but the novelty fades halfway through. It's a good co-op game though if you really want to play co-op with your friend. But I wouldn't plan on playing too long on this.

A great entry in the far cry series. The game is a direct sequel to far cry 5 and has you return to Hope County, Montana.

New Dawn is a solid addition to the series, following up the Far Cry 4 storyline. While enjoyable this did feel like it could have simply been a DLC pack for FC4. I put in around 20-22 hours of gameplay before completion and was fortunate to grab this as a Deal of The Day on the Best Buy website for $15. Had I paid full price, I likely would not have been as pleased.

If you are a fan of this series, this game is worth the 40 bucks easy, hands down. The post apocalyptic open world game play is beautifully done as always. Graphics are crisp and nice. The story line for this particular sequel is interesting and even the bad guys are more annoying and tougher than the part 5 adversaries. So far, the one thing I dislike is the lack of weaponry. Otherwise, it is a MUST BUY!!!!!

Graphics are great, almost lifelike, with lots of action. Entertaining story line.

I played and really enjoyed Far Cry 5. Many reviews were down on the game, since it didn't take advantage of it's political setting. I didn't care one way or another. This game is a standalone from Far Cry 5. You don't need to have played that to enjoy this. You will miss out on some context of the story. But, the story isn't that great anyway. The gameplay and the hook of upgrading is what I enjoy.

Open world with a fun story line. can be as difficult as you want or as easy as you want. graphics are amazing.

If you've played any games in the Far Cry series, you'll enjoy this game. Just as Far Cry Primal was based off the map for Far Cry 4, this game utilizes the same map as Far Cry 5 and is a direct sequel to it. I found the game to be just as much fun as any of the previously listed games. I'm not sure it's worth the $40 MSRP with the campaign being relatively short, but when on sale it's a good pick up.

If you liked Far Cry 5, you’ll like this bargain priced follow-up. It’s not as long or content packed as Far Cry 5, but it’s much lengthier than a DLC. It takes place years after the Far Cry 5 cliffhanger, and gives you a definitive ending, with plenty of things to do. It’s frequently on sale, and I highly recommend it. It’s not GOTY, but it’s very good, and in an era of publishers ripping gamers off with micro transactions, it’s a great deal.

Must have game. Farcry fan or not it a must buy game. Great graphics and good story hours of fun.

A good addition to the Far Cry series, smooth game play and a good story.

If you enjoyed Far Cry 5, I feel that this story was an upgrade. Downfall is that it is very short which explains the lower price tag. Also no multiplayer, only co-op campaign. If you have the ability to rent the game or borrow from a friend that would definitely be a better choice than purchasing it. I had the game finished in less than a week with moderate amount of play time.

Great follow up to Far Cry 5. A short game though, not alot of game time

Good Far Cry storyline, good game so far. Got it for $20, feels like I got a pretty good deal!

We purchased two of these games to play together and so far we have not been disappointed. The story seems pretty good. The only thing we both dislike is that there is so much farming to do before you can get decent weapons. You also cannot pickup weapons from enemy’s until after you have unlocked more spaces which sucks. Hopefully an update will fix some of these issues. Other than that it is fun.

If you liked Far Cry 5, you will like this too. The price is reduced as it does seem to be a "mini Far Cry 5" at same virtual locations and leveraging existing maps etc. I have played only about 2 hours, but it does seem appropriate to charge less. Nevertheless, the graphics are still excellent on HDR with Xbox One X.

This is the best Far Cry games so far. Great Graphic, Great Story, and Great Sound.
