Far Cry New Dawn is the latest in the Far Cry series and takes place after the bombs fell in Far Cry 5. It plays similarly but has a few new twists. New guns and that are based on levels and health based levels. It has the same game play and is still a good fun game. I think they mixed it up just enough to keep it interesting.

Cool story line, amazing play field and high quality graphics.

I was entirely disappointed by Far Cry 5. However, this game restored my faith in the franchise. Although it's a shorter experience with a smaller map, the base building mechanic, expeditions, and multi tier outposts were nice additions. I also found that guns/fangs for hire were actually useful for once.

Far Cry games follow the same formula and I like that. Most people probably don't but I like the simpleness to it. Travel the map, blow stuff up, fight the bad guys. Simple, yet fun. They always start off slow but once you start playing and gain abilities, it takes off!

If you liked Far Cry 5 then you will definitely like this one it kind of picks up after the far cry 5 game just has different ways of doing things I’m surprised it wasn’t a DLC I liked it though very fun game great graphics and a awesome first person shooting world to have fun in!

I have always been a huge fan of the Far Cry series and this is a continuation from Far Cry 5. It is good, but not great I have always been a fan of the series so that's why I purchased the game. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of the Far Cry series or a fan of FPS games.

If you liked Far Cry 5 you will really enjoy New Dawn! This game tskes place in Hope County after a nuclear bomb and its crazy! The guns the wild life its all crazy fun!

This is a pretty good addendum to the main Far Cry 5. The new female characters are cool to play and bring some much needed change to the series. The price was correct at around $20, when you can find it. Get this if you want a side story to the main plot.

This game is definitely worth buying and playing if you have played FarCry 5 as it pretty much an expansion or a smaller direct sequel. The would even be a lot of fun without having played FarCry 5. Picking it up when it’s on sale for around $20.

First this game is violent, just as Far Cry 5 was. It looks and plays like FC5 with more colors. It is more than a DLC and plays 15 hours plus and to get everything you will probably play a second time through. It was a very good game if you enjoyed FC5 or the franchise, this is a good buy.

Overall the game is pretty fun. SPOILER WARNING......... it's the sequel to farcry 5. The gunplay feels the same but the game feels a little stripped down compared to its predecessor. Guns are no longer custimizable and you cannot add attachments. Whatever the gun has is it. The story was decent. I just personally preferred the story of farcry 5 more. The post apocalyptic hope county is great to see though and the colors really pop in HDR on the xbox one x. If your a fan of shooters or post apocalyptic themes then you'll probably enjoy the game.

May be that I got hooked on the Farcry series back on 3 and 4 but, I do enjoy the series. Give the older ones a try since they're cheaper right now and see what you think. Only reason for 4 stars is because I'm only hours into it.

I don't understand all the hate this game got. It certainly doesn't reach the heights of FC3 but if you're a fan of the series you'll enjoy it plus it was released at $40 and you can probably get it for half that now.

This game was fun, I did enjoy it. Nothing new or exciting, but a nice expansion to Far Cry 5. The main bad guys were underwhelming compared to FC5 big bad, but still more of the same, fun game.

This is an extension of Far Cry 5. It’s also a condensed version of the Far Cry experience (exploration, gunplay, fun characters). It’s really fun to play and there’s lots to do.

Far Cry New Dawn is an extension of the story of Far Cry 5. The graphics are beautiful and the game play is about the same as any other Far Cry game. It's not a super long game but I actually like it better than Far Cry 5.

What a cool continuation of the far cry series! There’s a lot to do with side quests and outposts, and even more outposts in the form of expeditions. No drug induced stupidity, and a solid wrap up to far cry 5. It’s a visual stunner, and sounds fantastic.

I love the FC games and spent easily 150+ hours in each of them. This is the perfect predecessor to FC5. Absolutely worth the money for the story, quality of life upgrades and of course Hurk. Sorry, gotta go back to Montana to kickt the twins rear end.
