I really like my machine because I can eat my meat of any kind and make my meals more healthy with the meat that I choose.

We use this attachment for grinding our meats to make sausages with another special attachment not included. This makes life so much easier. The other attachment to slice veggies is something we both use most often. Make sure that your stand mixer from kitchen aid has enough power to grind the meat. The one we had before wasn’t powerful enough to grind as fast as we like. But no problems with others.

Bought the KitchenAid Food/Meat Grinder attachment to go with our other KitchenAid tools. What an excellent choice! We can make the most outrageously awesome hamburgers, meatloaf, sausage, and anything else you want to grind up. Easy to use, clean-up, and storage.

A gift for my Wife. She loves it!! She always wanted the grinder attachment, but always said how often will I use it. Well she is grinding everything thing, and don't see her stopping anytime soon. Its easy to use and cleans up nicely. Best Buy has the Best price for it..

This grinder attachment for my mixer works wonderfully. Very easy to use and clean. Highly recommend for anyone who needs to grind up meats, raw or cooked. Can also grind veggies to make meat salads like ham, pork or beef. Great to make my own sausage out of pork, veal, beef etc.

This grinder works very well. I use it to grind my mushrooms for duxelle. It makes the mushrooms a uniformed size for even cooking. It's fairly easy to clean. All the components pull apart easily.

This is our first stand mixer. We started with the low end because we didn't want to invest too much if it was going to sit unused in a cupboard. Well, the mixer has been used for everything from cakes to icings and pancakes to omelets. The grinder attachment has been used for making burgers and fish patties as well as grinding berries for preserves. This is quickly becoming the kitchen workhorse.

There's no guessing with this product it does exactly what's it supposed to and works great with the mixer.

Some reviews state the meat grinder attachment is cheaply made and not worth the money, but the attachment ha yet to fail me, and I have used it quite frequently. All parts are sturdy and easy to clean/use. Great purchase and do recommend.

We purchased the KitchenAid Food Grinder Attachment to be able to produce our own ground up healthier meats. We like our hamburgers to be very lean. We also like chicken burger, but find the cost of ground chicken to be expensive. We can grind meats and add spices all at the same time. This attachment just makes it a lot easier and more convenient seeing how we have the KitchenAid stand mixer already. It is extremely easy to use and cleanup is a breeze too. Even though some parts of it are made of plastic, it seems to be very durable. We have tried a lot of the different KitchenAid attachments and feel this one will be used a lot. I am in love with this attachment by KitchenAid! I have the stand mixer but I had not yet bought any of the attachments. KitchenAid is one of my favorite brands because of it high quality. The attachment worked exactly the way a meat grinder would. It's a wonderful addition to my collection.

I have kitchenAid machine and then I bought this set to grind pork meat. It is working very well. I can easily grind ten pounds of pork meat and stock them for dumpling, bun and pie. Now we are sure about what is inside the grind pork!

We wanted to grind meat at home since many of the times the meat, especially chicken bought in store had a lot of gamey flavor. We already had the mixer and assembling and attaching the grinder was a breeze. We tried grinding our first batch of chicken and it was very easy and the meat ground well. The best part was the cleaning - it was very easy to clean. We are very pleased with the purchase and feel it was worth every penny!!

We got this attachment because we are making preserves and a hand operated grinder is just too much work for one with carpal tunnel. We've ground fruits, fish, and vegetables and there's been no problems. This will quickly become a kitchen workhorse in our house.

We used the attachment to our KitchenAid Mixer to prep for Thanks giving Dinner. Unit worked well and ground everything from celery and onions to giblets very quickly with out a hitch...nice job KitchenAid!

I have tried it only once and it did the job. I did follow some of the recommendations to put the meat in the freezer for short time to help grinding, and results were OK. Next batch I did was with the meat that was in the fridge and result was the same. In both cases I was able to grind the meat without any problems. This is not a fast grinder but for small batches of meat it is sufficient. Cleaning was easy. I cannot say anything about the quality yet, the time will tell, but I don't like the plastic body and the pusher. Overall I would recommend this accessory if you already have the mixer.

I purchase this one and found that there was a set with all the parts to stuff sausage, so I returned and bought that one. I bought a grain grinder and was greatly impressed with this. Best thing to say is it is a Kitchen aid and it is a quality product.

I was afraid it wouldn’t be sturdy enough for meat but I was pleasantly surprised. Worked great for me, only problem os cleaning, lots of small areas for particles to get stuck. Overall great addition to the mixer.
