The graphics and gameplay is strong. Passes are more realistic and don't always to where you want them to. The new touch system has been frustrating to deal with. It also seems that speed dribbling is slowed down considerably as your wingers can be caught by central defenders. There are very few changes from 2018 to 2019 other than the Champions League music and graphics. Good game, but would hope for improvement in career mode from 1 year to the next.

A pretty good update to the FIFA series, with more significant changes compared to previous iterations. Passes, shots are less accurate, mirroring real life football a bit more. Pace is less important, which lends to gameplay that rewards intelligent build up and passing. Defending has changed a bit, and rewards being cautious, blocking off passing lanes, rather than pressuring all the time. (However pressuring on a bad touch is powerful) However, lack of significant updates or even much needed improvements to the career modes is a downer. As usual, FIFA has focused on money minting FUT mode, completely ignoring Be A Pro/Career Mode. (The Journey is more of a scripted story mode, rather than focusing on the footballing improvements)

I love playing FIFA with my friends in offline co-op. It is the sole reason I still buy this game. The gameplay is as fluid as ever. You feel a little more habd holding in terms of controlling your player. The game runs in semi automatic, with some features you can turn off like next man up, which basically allow you to pick a defender closest to the ball. Overall it is a good game, but some online modes like FUT are a grindfest, amd will make you spend your weekend completing challenges and tournaments for a few points. Not for the casual player. I give 4.5 stars to the overall gameplay and 3 stars to the online component because I can see for seasoned players how it can be a fun mode.

f you want a tactical, intricate football game FIFA still isn’t it, and probably will never be. PES sacrifices official licensing for more technical game mechanics but it’s hard to ignore FIFA’s branding, fun gameplay and superior online community. FIFA 19 is what you’d expect, but in a better way than last year. It improves local multiplayer for the first time in a while and adds some more superstar sheen and in-game touches to an already polished franchise.

Like my title suggests, FIFA 19 has changed in many ways that separates itself entirely from the last two games that were released. The pacing is a lot better this time around and actually resembles real life soccer. Another difference is that 19 offers slower build up and play style which was never the case for FIFA games. This actually allows the user to strategically plan an attack whereas the past games you could easily storm through the defenders and score. However, there are some issues to the pacing though, I like to say that it's like the turtle catching the rabbit, it'll take forever for you to catch up but it shows. And what's up with the obsession of bicycle kicks? Don't get me wrong they're awesome but enough is enough. Just because Ronaldo did it doesn't mean every single striker would also try it. And last but not least, the defending. It looks a lot harder this year but it doesn't allow the player to use dribbling skills to get past the defender. It looks like no matter what the defender will tackle you and intercept. Overall, it's a good step for EA to be making these changes to the game. I hope they patch correctly in the future. I would recommend this game as always, if you want a good time playing by yourself or with your friends. It is definitely the best looking FIFA game and it definitely shows that the game can be played slowly with strategic planning.

As most FIFA gamers are aware, the new finishing system can create some insane, unrealistic goals. I like that the timed finishing creates a more realistic take on the game. You have to hit it right or you will miss. The new cusom game modes are sweet. Volley, headers, no rules, etc. The game was a HUGE uprgrade from last year and it is amazing. I recommend to all FIFA gamers.

I've been playing Fifa since 99 on the computer and I have seen the improvements over time. Fifa 19' is the most realistic game, amazing graphics, and great features. My most recent Fifa games was Fifa 16 on my PS3 and now I play Fifa 19 on my PS4 original. PS4 Pro sounds cool but just playing on your original or slim PS4 would be just great!

Good game play - AI can actually play. Better graphics. You have to be more accurate in holding the direction for shooting and passing too. Defense can easily catch up the strikers. More challenging. Oh and different varieties of game style like last man standing, no rules, champions league feature and some more over the classic game play.

I love fifa, but man they need to make some changes to career mode. I bought fifa because I love the graphics and authenticity but EA needs to do something to spice up career mode. It's the same every year...focused on getting their ultimate team(online) money, and whatever I get it but they shouldn't neglect career mode. Anyways rant over. My advice, just stick with fifa 18 if you're a career mode player.

The game is great, has most of the major leagues and the graphics are amazing. I particularly use it to play leagues or friendly matches with friends... Be sure you put a time tracker when you start playing, as you may probably loose the length of time...

FIFA has always been a game to buy every year. With new and changing features it’s a game that won’t disappoint, especially if you have friends or family over its fun to challenge each other if you have 2 controllers. I definitely recommend

I have a U8 player, and to get him to learn to pass and spread out, this game kinda taught him to do that. He beats me at the game now, and only has clocked about 12 hours. Graphics are great and super easy to learn.

Ive always loved Fifa. they became a bit stale for a while though. all they would do is update graphics and squads pretty much. but they went further on this one by adding new game modes. I'm glad they did, I love it.

FIFA is getting more real each year, specifically on the passes, you need to point very carefully when and where are you going to make a pass, it's more difficult, but you'll get use to it.

Honestly, it’s going to take a while to adapt to the changes in gameplay. But once you do, you’ll notice how more significant the changes are compared to the previous efforts. Besides gameplay, the game does have better graphics, and new modes to increase the longevity of play. Oh…and UCL is EPIC!

The graphics are amazing. It's pretty close to watching a game on television. Everything on the game seems to be intuitive so my son has Ben able to navigate through it with ease.
