This movie was amazing fifty shades freed coming Valentine’s Day 2018 to theatres!!!

The movies are better than the books, if for only one reason. The grammar in the books is so atrocious, that it is difficult to get absorbed in the story when you keep getting jarred out of it by the horrible grammar. The overall storyline is pretty good, and the character development isn't bad, but if you have an option, skip the books, and go straight to the movies. Your educated brain will appreciate it.

If you like bad acting with sex scenes, then this is the movie for you. I read the all books and thought the movies shouldn’t be that bad but I was wrong. Don’t get me wrong I’ll still watch all of them, just disappointed that the movies went the cheesy route.

I found this one had the acting a bit better than the first one, but there was still lacking a full on commitment on the part of the actor playing the lead. I was disappointed by his performance and the fact that things deviated from the book so much.

I didn't know what to expect when I got this movie as a gift to a friend of mines it turns they loved it and they watch it constantly and never get bored lol. As long as they are happy I'm happy because my money was well spent!

Received a day before release date. My girlfriend wasso excited and she says the Steelbook is gorgeous.

I was looking froward to this second installment of the triology, since I enjoyed the first one. Darker does have a very Beefed up Christian Grey. He has really been working out! Major muscles and definition. When watching the first 50 Shades, then the Darker movie right after, you have to wonder how he did it in a week or so!! But what really got on my nerves is Anatasia's (Dakoyta) constant throat clearing. She does this through the whole movie. If you have ever seen "The Family Stone" Christmas movie, Sarah Jessica's character is made fun of for this very same awful habit. It seemed like she was trying to imitate her mother Melanie Griffin, in the "Working Girl" movie where she does the same thing. Even to the point of saying the EXACT same line to her "secretary", about her rules of "you can call me Ana, and you don't have to get me coffee unless you are getting some, other than that we will just play it by ear". Come on people! Get Daykota some throat lozenges, and tell her to stop trying to copy her mother. SO irritating. Whoever edited this movie should have really listened to it. Just saying....

This series is not my cup of tea, but it is for your date! The acting is good with a storyline that is well played. A must for your significant other!

My Fiance loves the fifty shades franchise. Bought her the movie to add to the collection. I liked the first movie better. Lol

After shaking the world back in 2015, Fifty Shades of Grey returns with its sequel "Fifty Shades Darker". I was really excited to see the movie adaptation for this part because it was the best book in my opinion of the series and the trailers made it seem very close to the original source but I was afraid because the first movie was not pretty loyal to the book. I went to a midnight showing of the movie, and it didn't dissapointed! "Darker" is a big improvement from the first movie, delivering the same strength, a pretty nice adaptation that stays loyal to the original source almost all of the time, and delivers the thrills and romance we were all expecting. If you loved the book you won't be dissapointed. Fifty Shades Darker continues Christian and Ana's love story in a great way, this time delivering mystery, lots of steamy action, even some well-executed jokes in between, and something that I found really refreshing is that all the changes that were made were for good! The cinematography is well-done, the direction improves a 200% and Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson do a great job returning as the iconic lead characters, supported by returning faces and some new ones. Overall, Fifty Shades Darker is entertaining, exciting, and it was worth the 2-year wait!

You just need to watch till the end..it makes your knees weak and drives you insane wanting to know what happens next..

Ok when I watch films I do so on a 180" movie theater screen with full 7.1 surround sound and the Buttkicker transducer system. This is not to Boast but to give an idea of the clarity that I rate both 4k and 1080p films. 1st off regardless if you are huge into 4k or still collect Blu-ray; I will add that with today's (Oppo) upscaling technology along with upscaling technology on theater projectors that the difference between Blu-ray & 4k is minimal. I will say that going over 180" that you will likely see a difference and recommend 4k for 150"+ screens. I might be the odd person out who found the rateings of this film to be low. I actually liked the film. It did go way off on story and switch from a BDSM mix of sadism to a radical change in the protagonists feeling after a lifetime of living one way.. How? Well, I actually believe the film was correct. Change happens due to the people in our lives and I found myself enjoying this film. Both leads charecters changed a lot. It was a fun story. The Sound and picture quality was on par with the 1st film and that's excellent! I love the sweeping cinematics and set locations/designs. I say give it a try. You might just like th e50 shades story!

The 2nd installment.Dornan and Dakota are a great team. If you enjoyed the 1st you'll enjoy this more

Glad to watch the second one after the first one. Now on to the third of the trilogy.
