    Incredible

This game is simply incredible. I have been playing the demo over and over for a few days now and I can't get enough. The graphics and realism in the game are simply amazing. After a few minutes of playing you actually forget you're playing a video game and feel as if you're in the game. I can't say anything is wrong with this game because the gameplay, graphics, and realism are perfect. Anyone who complains about this one is just a hater. With a good 1080p HDMI LCD TV connection, someone might walk in the room and think you are watching a real fight on pay per view. The demo shows 48 boxers, training, create your own boxer, online world championships, career mode, and much more. Don't hesitate to buy this one!!!

    Nice Boxing Game

This game is really not bad. It's not as fun as round 2 and round 3 because this game requires more thinking and not just plain punching. Whats good about the game is that it's very realistic. Boxer movements, punches and just everything is realistic. One issue I have is controls. I don't mind using the analog but having all types of punches coming from R3 is pretty hard. It's hard to land the specific punch that you like but you'll get used to it. Other than that, there's really no other issue about controls. I don't know why other people who write reviews about this game complain how they can't use the buttons to punch anymore. Round 2 and round 3 both used analog as far as I can remember. The only difference is that you're only using one analog stick this time for punches unlike the use of both analog sticks for previous fight nights. This game requires patience. Like a real boxer, you need to wait for the right time to unleash your punches for them to be effective. If you know and like boxing then you'll be liking this game a lot.

note: this review is based on the demo I was excited to know that in this summer Fight Night Round 4 was coming out. After playing the demo, this makes me want to get this game even more. i hope everyone knows that only the first 3 rounds are playable so its obvious that when you puch your opponent, it won't do much damage unless you do haymakers. i did not like the controls too much, yes it makes the gameplay faster, but you can't do the pucnhs that you want to do easily. when i go for head shots, i rely on my jab and straight punch's more than anything else because its much much easier to use them, same with the body shots. to do a hook or uppercut to the head, you need to swing the joystick around like and idiot, this irritates me alot. but with the body shots, you just move the joystick to a certain direction and you will get what you expect.its much more comfortable to use jabs and body shots then hooks and uppercuts to the head. if ea could do something about this then i dont see why anybody shouldn't get this. this basically fight night round 3 but with faster more realistic gameplay

    Game's for REAL BOXING FANS!

This game is awesome! All I read was that the controlls are hard and game is not all that.. If you love boxing than buy this game. Controlls complaint is so overated..Just like the Skate games once u get use to the controlls your killing it forever..I'm so glad that I did not listen to some of these reviews. It's like watching a Pay Per View fight. Tony Atlas is one of the commentators. Every boxer has there own style and it actually will effect the outcome of fights. If a boxer is a inside fighter who maybe fighting and outside fighter he must try and get inside and do his thing if not..Goodnight...I'ts just so realistic.. U can fight at the old Phillipines venue in Manila, Staples Center, Mgm Grand, Newyork, all over the place. I think EA sports did an awesome job with this game.. People need to stop being so critical and enjoy the game.. I dont think any PS3 games are worth $59.99 + tax. But we all have to pay it.. so quit crying!!

Best boxing game ever, and I've played them all. Graphics are unreal, like the last game, however, the gameplay is awesome. It is the most realistic boxing game. If you like boxing, you will love this game. I always thought Knockout Kings 2001 was my favorite, because of the impressive roster at the time, but this game is better. In addition to a solid roster, you can download created fighters from other users that have made them available in the Online Game Mode. Great feature. All in all, great game. I will soon be trading in UFC as Fight Night is better in every way.

Purchased for $15, which you can't beat that price for a game like this. Has tremendous graphics when playing with HDMI on the big screen. Really enjoy the longevity that a game like this can provide because of the online and legacy mode play, with so many different fighters and weightclasses. Not sure if it's the game or the PS3, but have had the playability be choppy in parts, and actually freeze up once. The only negatives for gameplay I would mention are the navigation around the game is a little confusing and involves a lot of clicks. Also, in legacy mode, the message center is too basic, they could have done a lot with this feature, but it's so generic that it turns me off.

    Fight Night Round 4

Fight Night Round 4 is an exciting and fun boxing game. It is cool how they have Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali as fighters. Its like the NBA Live series when they had Michael Jordan as a player on the video game. The game is fun and is a little tough to get use to because you have to use the analog stick. I compared it to UFC Undisputed 2009 because I have been playing both those games at the same time. I think Fight Night Round 4 is a lot more difficult and takes a little more to get use to playing. Overall, Fight Night is a good boxing game.

Overall, this game is amazing. The graphics are amazing on a regular TV and absolutely ridiculous in HD. Gameplay is really smooth and the "Legend Mode" is really cool as you take your boxer (create your own or pick a real boxer) through his quest to become the Greatest of All Time (GOAT). Some of the training exercises are a little too difficult for my liking, but I'm pretty sure I can chalk that up to User Error, haha. Another sweet feature is that you can download created boxers for free if you have access to the internet. Many boxers available for download are fictional characters like Rocky Balboa, Apollo Creed and Borat. Bottom Line: this game is super fun and I would recommend it to anyone who likes boxing or fighting games. Another A+ game from EA Sports.

The graphics are outstanding. Fight quality is appealling but somewhat redundant and repetitive as is most boxing games. Overall a fun game for a few fights, career mode is entertaining.

    Best In The Series!!!

Fight Night Round 4 is without a doubt the best in the Fight Night Sereis. Now, alot of people knock the game for the controls, which I don't get at all, because the controls are the same as the last Fight Night, using the Total Punch Control feature, where you decide what punches to throw using the right analog stick, which I think made the sereis more fun to play. It's better than that old botton mashing feature you had to use on Knockout Kings, and Fight Night 2004. But for all you old heads, who never got used to Total Punch Control, you can still just change the controls to your liking. Anyways, the graphics are a HUGE improvement over the last Fight Night game, where there seemed to be an invisible wall between fighters. That wall has now dissappeared, allowing for inside fighting. If you think this game is going to be a walk in the park, then your dead wrong. This may be the most challenging sports game I have ever played, plus the game adapts to your fighting style forcing you to change up your strategy in every fight. Legacy Mode has been completley redone as well. You get to Schedule your own fights, and training sessions, by picking one fighter in your weight class out of a list. Choosing the highest ranked fighter, and beating them will highly increase your stats, and popularity, sky rocketing you to the top. There is also a large roster of fighters to choose from, including new ones like Mike Tyson and George Foreman. Im still however waiting for an appearance of Floyd Mayweather, but for now I can just hope. Fight Night Round 4's stunning graphics, large roster, and completley new Legacy Mode, makes it the one game every PS3 owner has to have in their collection. 5/5.

This is game has some up and downs. The ups can come quickly with the action and the wanting to win pulls you in. Now the boxer can become fatigue quickly making it hard for things to happen. I have to say I enjoyed playing it.

    Best boxing game out there

Good boxing game, so far the best in the series. Some of the signature moves are the same and thats kind of weak because we all know certain fighters for their particular punches. For example chavezs signature move is a wind up puch but we all know his best punch was the left hook to the body. To get up from a knockdown is hard for beginners so it's not that easy to play for everyone. Overall a real fun game to play with a group of people.

Controls are a little hard to get used to if you're used to using the option from previous games with button controls, you must use the analog stick, but once you get used to it it's cool, and I'm talking just from playing the DEMO. Everything else is 20 times better than previous games, I don't see how you could compare FNR2 with this one.

decent game. spectacular graphics, sweat dripping, blood flying, muscles moving realistically. alot of classic and present day boxers. 10 rounds of throwing punches over and over gets old quick (atleast for me). also theres not many game modes to choose from. fight now, career, and online. i wouldve been happier if i didnt spend 6o

Ok, for all those people before me who said that this game was terrible or that EA had messed this one up, they are so wrong. Just look at the date of their reviews. The game just came out yesterday. Their reviews were based on the lackluster playable demo. Take this advice from a avid Fight Night gamer. I bought the game yesterday, played it all night. Best Fight Night ever, by far. So please don't listen to the people that are judging this game from the Demo, listen to someone who actually bought the game on the day it came out. Great Game. Gameplay is amazing, and graphics are spectacular. Nuff Said. As for the fighters, Tyson is a beast. Ali is great as always. Still messing around with the other heavyweights and some of the middleweights. Online is also very fun, like always. Keep up the good work EA, can't wait for Madden 10.

First and foremost, this is easily the best boxing game ever. All of the great fighters including IRON MIKE! The controls are very intuitive, the graphics incredible, gameplay options are deep and immersive. Love it! My friend let me know about the Christmas deal and I bought it online and went to pick it up at the store - an option that I had no idea about prior to this purchase. They didn't have it at the first store and I did have a bit of trouble getting them to reroute it to another store. There should be an option to switch to another location online without calling. But nonetheless I picked it up without a hitch. Was in and out the store in 5 mins. All in all, it was a great steal. Get this game if you can!

This game is simply amazing. I downloaded the demo a few days ago, and I still play it from time to time. I can't wait for it to come out. There are 48 boxers available in the game, and you can make your own and try to become a boxing legend. You can also go online and compete in the boxing championships. The game is simply amazing in gameplay and mecanics. You can see the boxers spit blood out of their mouth as they get a solid uppercut to the face. The controls are simple, as well. Left stick to move around and right stick for punches. If you enjoy fighting games, I would strongly recommend picking this game up when it comes out. Awesome game.
