Customers are saying

However, a common concern revolves around the device's battery life, with some users reporting that the battery drains quickly. Several users noted that the battery did not last through a typical day. One user even mentioned that battery performance is dependent on usage.

    Great Idea Needs More Accuracy

The watch is a great alternative for younger children instead of buying a cell phone. It only allows the child to call a programmed number. The biggest feature for me is the gps. This allows me to locate my child along with getting updates when out of a "safety zone". The zones are created by you for example school, home, practice, etc. I have noticed that I will not get an update that my child is out of a "safety zone" for about 20-45 mins past when they actually left. The wrist band can be a bit uncomfortable and even with the spacers. When I was researching this item there were no reviews so it was very hard. AT&T representatives had no idea what this product was or how it worked (including the managers). Setting up the product was was issue on the AT&T side. It is supposed to not be a 2-yr contract however Best Buy would sent me to AT&T and AT&T would direct me to Best Buy. This was a nightmare for about a week because I even did my duediligence and called Best Buy and AT&T before the purchase to make sure everything was going to run smoothly. It did not. After even contacting corporate for both companies neither took ownership. In the end the product is a great idea just poorly executed.

The watch is sturdy and does what it claims. I had no trouble with set up, but make sure you activate it with ATT before registering with fillip so you don't have the connection issues others have mentioned. The GPS works good. The battery life is fine as long as your child doesn't decide to call everyone on the list all day long. (Yes, your child will do this. LoL) Set some limits up with your child and it will last all day. And yes your child will test the emergency call feature at least once - they are kids right? - and it works very well calling everyone on the list and doesn't give up til someone answers. Overall a good product to keep track of where they are and to contact them when needed.

It does exactly what it says it does. I would have much rather had the Verizon version of this watch but I have AT&T. When talking to my daughter on her watch, it's always I hear every other word. Not sure if it's our area but I would think of our phones work fine, so should this.

Bands are small and if you buy a different color band you don't get the little extension. We bought the watch with the blue band and bout an orange band extra only to find out he has to use the blue extension on the orange band

I expect more from a smart watch in 2016 - even for kids. This is a bit clunky - it would be better to be able to use a regular wrist band with the watch. It has a large screen, but poor graphics, despite being black and white. The accompanying app freezes/shuts down a lot. My son does love it, because he loves being able to call someone on it (his parents and grandparents only). It needs volume buttons and a better speaker, though. I am still using it, to be able to track my son on vacation, but I wish something better was offered by AT&T

We purchase the Filip 2 for our daughters, the product sounded very good and had a good over all concept. But Filip and AT&T have both a long way to go. The Filip it's a little rough around the edges it's a bit bulky.. But the biggest draw back its AT&T service activation it's a huge deal breaker I had to talk to 3 different reps to get 1 of 2 activated... Then they tryed to jack up the price from the original "$10 a month" and after 2 weeks of playing phone tag with their costumer service I was only able to activate 1 of 2 but I still got stuck with a bill of $70.. And not to mention how horrible their service it's on our town.

If you plan to text or call your kid on this watch the battery will be out in no time. It is purely for tracking purposes...and it is ugly!

I would charge the watch from 8pm until 7:25am, put it on my child at 7:30 and it never had a charge for his walk home from school at 2:25. I would typically get a notification around noon that it needed to be charged and it would die by 1:30. Had to return it after trying to make it work for a week. There was no point in him having a watch I can track if the battery won't last an entire school day. Very disappointing!

I use his filip watch to know where he is when we travel, school, and when he visits his friends. Sound is clear and works just like a phone. I highly recomend this watch phone!!

Poor Product backed with Terrible Customer Service

Been fighting with flip for over 3 months about how the sound doesn't work, they finally agree to replace the item but it will take the 4-6weeks to replace it (which is there standard turn around time) all while you still pay your monthly service fees. so ill be out about $60 in service fees alone while this thing hasn't worked.
