I purchased this filter at the same time I purchased the vacuum cleaner so I would have it on hand when it was needed.

After only a couple of months the filter began to rip apart and and blow dust all over the place. It blows right out the front preventing the vacuum from getting any light particles like paper bits and plastic film unless you pulled the vacuum backwards over the them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
