Continues the story of FF14, new classes, new areas, tons of new stuff. If you love FF14, get this, if you're new to FF14 the only con is you have to complete the original story before being able to access this new content, and this is more of a FYI than a con as the game is excellent and actually follows the story and lore of the world which is why this expansion is the way it is.

If you have leveled your character to 50 and finished the main story you need to get this expansion as it lets you level your character to 60 and adds a host of new additions to the gameplay as well as add more story. You should only really buy this when you finish the story since you can't access the content until you have done so.

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is the first expansion to the fast growing Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn MMORPG. This expansion not only continues the well developed story of FFXIV: A Realm Reborn, but it also introduces 3 new jobs and and increased level cap. I believe that the most interesting new implementation is the Direct X 11 engine. Even though we do not see obvious performance improvements with the Direct X 11 engine implementation, we do see subtle tweaks in lighting differences, water and floor reflections amd a few other things. This allows for a more polished look to your FFXIV: Heavensward experience. All in all, I would reccomended this expansion to everyone.

Just what my title says. It's a great expansion with plenty of content. Lot's of new dungeons and the new jobs are nice as well.

Overall this is a very good expansion with a great story and game play additions. Biggest downside for me is that the endgame is too similar to content before the expansion. But this is only the beginning and I'm excited to see what they add in with future patches.

ARR was a great game. The Expansion Heavensward makes it even better. The new jobs are awesome, the maps are huge, the leveling is not a drain. You can play hardcore or casual. I recommend this game. Low price, awesome graphics and story line.

The sheer amount of content and story in what could've been just any mere expansion is astounding. The music deserves particular praise as well. Plus, flying mounts!

Even if you haven't finished the main story quest, I would recommend this update for you. I have several crafting classes at the level 50 mark, and this allows me to gain experience above that, and begin working on their lvl50+ content. Additionally, I just started playing through the end-questline for Reborn (after buying the expansion) and am gaining quest experience from that.

This expansion adds an entire new dimension to FFXIV. From the numerous additional areas to the new flying mounts and classes - there's something for the serious and casual players alike. A must have for any FFXIV fan.

FF14 keeps getting better and better and this expansion helps alot with a large new area and several interesting new classes.

FFXIV is nothing but a great game to play and this expansion just adds more flavor by expanding the story as well as the the jobs you can play. Highly recommended

More dungeons, more gears, and lots more hours. And more jobs that is pretty fun.

Expansion pack adds three new classes. One healer tank and dps. Great story.

I needed this to level up but it's so much more than that. Awesome!

I'm very happy with the new expansion. so much has been added to the game, and I know that Square Enix will continue to add more as patches will be coming every 6 months. So much content was added since ARR launched, and I know there is more to come for the new areas. What is also great are the fixes to the game so things continually improve.

After completing all of the back logged main story I was finally able to play the expansion Heavensward... Just a warning if you have a lot of the 2.0 main story left you will need complete that before having access to any of the Heavensward content. I haven't had this much fun with an MMO since raiding Burning Crusade in WoW! Find a great free company and have a blast with all this game has to offer you will not be disappointed.

I played FF online when it first released and loved it, but then as others I knew quit so did I. However, when the Heavensward came out I had to indulge once again so I picked it up and have been loving all of the new content. I definitely recommend it if you are a FF fan!
