Yes, this First Alert combination smoke and carbon monoxide detector works great so far. I bought 3 as a replacement. They only last about 7yrs. There are so many to choose from with all the features they offer. I did want the ones that are wireless and when one goes off they all go off and tell you whether smoke or carbon monoxides detected. I do like the alarm and added voice feature. Next time I will get the wireless with this feature. Also, I price matched with Amazon online price and got a great deal on all three detectors.

this one is more than enough for a house that needs both smoke and CO detection. I highly recommend it. It talks to you as well. thumbs up

This alarm is a breeze to set up. Two screws in the wall & install. Easy to follow directions. Testing is simple. I was amazed at how loud & clear it was. I hope it never goes off. Ha Ha

It was time to upgrade the old smoke detectors, and I thought it could be wise to also go with a carbon monoxide sensor as well. Best Buy had this on sale and it fit the bill. It's kind of cool that you can also program this device to say which floor it is located.

It’s loud, but is supposed to. You can program it to know what room it is in so should something happen, it can alert you as to where to avoid.

Interesting Unit. Never had one that would talk. Appears to be a good device but one can only know after an alarm takes place.

I put it up on the wall my wife didn't even see it pressed the test button it started talking my wife ran out the door
