I bought this for my grandson for Christmas knowing that my granddaughter would play with it too. The kids can easily connect the body segments and push the button and watch it go. I also bought both of the 3 pack add on's and some extra single directional segments. They love the lights and sounds and one of these extras plays music while the code-a-pillar is stopped. They danced to the music and would chase it when it moved. It seems sturdy and has survived a tumble into our sunk in family room. (One step) if it hits an obstacle such as a chair or wall, it stops and the kids learned that they can pick it up and change directions and hit the button again to make it finish the sequence. A big hit for the whole family and some programming logic thinking is going on too!

Our son loves this toy! He helps build it and then dances as it moves across the floor! We bought the extra sounds pack and he loves it! Would definitely recommend, we even bought one for a friends kid!

It is easy to put together and follows the path programed for Code a pillar to go.

Good toy for direction learning, had tough time to explain my kid left and right direction while he was riding his bike with this toy now he can easily make which way he his going

I bought this for my 3 year old nephew expecting the other 3 younger (ages 4, 5, 6) nieces and nephew to take an interest. What was a pleasant and amusing surprise was the amount of fun the fathers had in "teaching" how to use the Code-a-pillar. Very pleased with it.

This toy was fun for my two year old grandson (He has an eight year old brother to help him). The toy is easy to use and is great for children old enough to understand that by changing the order of the modules around it changes the way the Code-A-Pillar moves.

Get those kids something to make them think, not another mindless junk toy. I got this for my 4 year old nephew and this was his favorite toy he got that day despite getting a ton of cars. He really took a liking to the gift which I was pleased with.

Absolutely loved this for my little ones first birthday, not only did he love it my other child and the kids that were at our house enjoyed it. i can't wait to get the other kits to make it do more.

My 2 year old nephew loves it! At first it was a little scary then he realized he could make it stop and go. It took him a few tries but he can connect and disconnect the pieces.

This is a fun toy for preschoolers. My daughter enjoys doing different sequences to see how the codeapillar will react. We added some expansion packs too. So fun.

I purchased this toy for my 18month old. She loves it! She loves taking it apart and putting it back together to see which way it will go.
