I wanted to not have to fully invest in an overly expensive smart watch, I just wanted a some what "beginners" to see if i would like one and not break the bank. I like it for the most part, though a few flaws I found were I do not feel the calorie counting is accurate while working out, and I have a Samsung S8+ and it says online it should be compatible with my watch, and for the most part it is, except I can't get my notifications sent to it! Read and read online how to, fiddled with the dang thing and still nothing. But truthfully that is okay, as having the bluetooth on constantly with it drains it SUPER fast which I find kind of ridiculous. All in all though it has been helpful so far while I'm at work though, I like seeing how many steps I actually run around!

Amazing product.. I was searching for a smart watch for a while doing my research to see what was out there. At the same time I also wanted something I can use for my workouts. The Fitbit Blaze works great during workout, 24/7 heart monitoring is great for calculating the calories burned for the entire day. If you are looking for something to help you track your daily activities this is a great product. Tracks steps, floors climbed (pretty accurate tested it and only 1 time so far didn't calculate the stairs I went up), distance for the entire day, water intake log, food log which is great because if the product you are eating has a barcode simply scan it with the Fitbit app and it will count the calories for you, sleep log detects the amount of time you slept based on your movement and heart rate while sleeping, also lets you set a goal to lose weight and keeps track of how much you have left based on you updating your weight, stay active feature where you set a certain amount of hours of the day that you must stay active which recommends you to get up and take 200 steps. The watch is also great for working out options. Set your work out Running, weights, trendmill, Bike, Elliptical, and the watch will track it and log it into the app where it lets you see your weekly workouts and also heart rate during the workout. Tracking your average beats per min to your max bpm during the workout. Bluetooth functions allows your to connect your watch to your smart phone where you can do the following: -change music, volume change -see text messages, incoming calls, and voicemail alerts. You can't reply from the watch but you can see the message. Watch also vibrates if you want it to so you can feel when you have a message. You will never miss a message or call while wearing the watch with the notification feature one. Alarm function: great feature set you alarm on Fitbit app and your watch will vibrate to wake you up. Love this feature no more walking up others with the sound of an alarm. Overall watch is great highly recommend it anyone.

Bought this as a gift for my hubby and it’s working flawless! The heart rate monitor is the main reason I bought it and we ended up using it for notifications and exercise tracking as well. So far, we’re loving it.

I would have liked to have an Apple Watch as I use an iPhone but couldn't see spending $400 for the entry model and have to charge it everyday. I wanted a nice watch (think Citizens EcoDrive) for work but wanted one that would silently alert me of phone calls and text messages. I didn't need something that would alert me of every little tweet and game update. The local store didn't have black since it was a few days before official launch day so I settled for Blue. The blue band has grown on me and is really sharp for work and stands out enough too. I get people asking if it is an Apple Watch and they are surprised to learn it is a Fitbit. As far as the function, there are 4 basic clock faces in the phone app. They are just okay. I would like to see possible weather integrated of just an all clock and date. Everything functions well. I have all the settings to default and I only have to charge it on Sundays. I wear it to work and home and it is only off my wrist when I sleep. Charging is a pain though I would like to see a stand made or a charger that works without popping the unit out of the frame. And it DOES work with other brand watch bands as long as they have a quick release pin.

Love this watch ! Been waiting for a smart fitness watch like this for a couple years . Love the Text feature, it is great to not have to have your phone nearby when you receive a call or text , the notification is enough then you can reply when it's convenient. All the functions of the fitness applications are terrific too , I'm a novice exerciser so it is beneficial to know when I am in the fat burning zone . The best part of all is the clock head snaps out if I ever want to replace the band or I can put the head in my pocket when I'm using my eliptical. Anyway it's very versatile and I love it!

This watch is fabulous. The screen size is wonderfully large, yet not bulky or fragile. It tracks movement, sleep stages (VERY effectively too!), workouts, notifications, heart-rate, stairs climbed, and even has built in workouts and breathing techniques! This watch also stays charged for long periods and has beautiful bands to match any style. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a smart watch that doesn’t want to spend outrageous money on competing brands.

I like that the band is interchangeable, the design is not as bulky as the charge, charge HR, and surge. I would not recommend for people with an active lifestyle, since the tracker is designed to pop out of the band I would be concerned about it coming loose during intense workouts. It would be nice if it included instructions in the box. I bought this for my dad, who does not have a smart phone, and had to go online to pull up the instructions for him. Overall, it is a good design, however I did have a little more trouble getting it to connect to the app, than previous models (i.e. one, flex, charge hr).

Not quite an iWatch killer- but the Blaze picks up where the iWatch falls short in the fitness category. I really want to like the blaze fitness watch! I've been a fitbit user for several years and love their products, friendly customer service, web portal and easy to use features. . The Good- Excellent and accurate stats including a far superior heart rate monitor-again compared to the iWatch. The FitBit webportal is the best in the wearable fitness world-IMO. Walking and jogging routines are tracked with very little effort. The Bad- My biggest challenge is with the button design-every work out is interrupted or stopped because a button is inadvertently pressed. The instructions suggest that you should move the watch a few inches higher-away from the wrist-to avoid an accidental button press. When I do this, the heart rate monitor does not work and/or the watch slips closer to my wrist where any hand movement presses a button. Doing a bench press, pull up or push-up will consistently stop or pause my work out. I also wear the blaze during boxing workouts to track my heart rate but again, a button will be accidentally pressed and I end up with nothing. Fitbit should implement a way to lock the screen or a way to disable the buttons during a workout. My workouts are not synchronized to Endomondo. According to Endomondo, the blaze only syncs with daily steps and there are no future plans to allow the syncing of workouts between Endomondo and the Blaze. Not sure if this is a FitBit or Endomondo issue. After 2 weeks of use, the band looks dated and there are salt rings from perspiration embedded into band-A simple soap and hot water will remove the salt rings but who has time to give a watch a bath... The last question below is would I recommend this to a friend-I'm a solid maybe-Again, I want to like the blaze and hope for a few new features with firmware upgrades.

I wear this watch exclusively. I purchased a silver metal band which I usually wear to work and reserve the purple and black bands mostly for the weekends. The watch looks stylish with the silver band and sporty with the other bands. All are very comfortable and allow me to measure my steps, heart rate etc. This comes in handy since I walk on my lunch hour four days a week and go to the gym two days a week that I am not at work.

    Love it except for syncing

I love the fitbit blaze. I went from the fitbit charge HR to the blaze and love many of the new features and it tracks sleeping and steps so well. I am enjoying being able to switch out the bands to get a less sporty look (see photo). I love the face choices, though I like the standard one best as it looks most like a regular watch face. I don't love the charger, but other options are available. The only issue I have is that it is not as good as the charge HR was with syncing reliably. Every couple of days I have to mess with it to get it to sync correctly again. I hope they will fix this in updates. It is the reason it didn't get 5 stars.

Wife and I purchased this toupgrade from the flex and we are pretty halpy about the purchase. I can track steps, stairs, keep up with heart rate, calories burned and get notications from texts (i can read my texts on the Blaze), phone calls (see who called and voicemail) and motion notifications from my video cameras. I love it. Also, it woke me up from my sleep by the vibrations on my wrist from the alarm feature that i set.

This watch does what it set out to do, but with everything going smaller and thinner, I thought Fitbit would have released a product that was not as bulky. The Setup on this watch is incredibly difficult, and I had to let the battery die and then recharge just to be able to get the setup program to work. Once running it works great.

I have liked FitBit for helping to track my activity levels - steps, exercise, heart rate and reminders to move when I am working. FitBit Blaze makes this even simpler -- all of the stats on an easy to read screen. I also have it set to show calendar reminders, alarms and text messages so that I can stay on track. Love the new Blaze. I also like being able to switch the band. I have the plum and the tan leather bands.

I really like the watch. It tracks your steps and heart rate and even your sleep patterns, which is cool to me. There are several other functions that I haven't started using yet, but seem like great tracking programs. The only complaints I would have is that it tracks steps even if you're riding in a vehicle and not actually walking. Also, it doesn't switch to military time, but that's not a huge deal.
