Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the Flex Wireless Activity Tracker's sleep tracking, ease of use, and accurate step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate the long battery life, comfortable size and weight, and the motivational aspects of the device. While some users mentioned challenges with the charging mechanism, clasp, and price point, the positive feedback on core features outweighs these concerns. The water resistance and alarm features also received positive comments.

    Almost perfect

Good product but kept falling off my 7 yr old daughters wrist. I'm sure fo a adult it would be good but I like the HR better for the fact you get a clock and don't always have to goto four phone app to see how many steps you have taken because the HR displays steps. This is a good start though

    Waste of money

Mine broke after only a few months. Read the message boards. You'll find that too many other Fitbit customers have had the same problem. It just stops working. The way the battery slips into the wristband allows water and sweat to seep in so it smells bad too! The idea is good, but the product is terrible.

You will lose this item. Junk wrist band design.

Clasp is junk design. I had the Flex for 37 hours. Fell off my wrist while playing golf! Poor engineering, poor design on the wrist band and metal clasp. I read a few reviews, but didn't heed the warning. Should have used duct tape on the wrist band to hold it on my arm. $99 thrown away in the breeze.

Love this tracker. No frills, meaning no clock. Love app also. Gives me the info I want and keeps it simple.

Despite all the negative comments, I decided to try FitBit. I really like it. I like that it synchs with My Fitness Pal, too.

    Not what I expected

I first purchased the UP band by Jawbone, but that's another Review. After about three weeks with that product I realized it wasn't as reliable as I was making the product seem in my own mind. So I brought that product back and traded it in for the Fitbit flex as I had found plenty of reviews on Youtube comparing the two products because they were released around the same time. Now I am a runner, I rely on Nike GPS tracking for the Iphone, which is reliable, to track my distance for runs. Well about 8 miles into my run, thats when the Fitbit said I hit my 10,000 steps, when in actuality, with my stride calibrated, should equal out to 5 miles. I changed the settings to dominant hand, sensitivity all the way up, and still no changes have occurred in its ability to be remotely close to accurate for distance and steps traveled. Disappointment!

Decent, if you can put it on.

I really do not understand who designs these things so ugly. The wristband is ugly, and it is virtually impossible to put it on unless you have assistance. The tracking is not very accurate, but it does its job. It is going back to the store today.

It looks good and fits well. The calorie counter seems to always be higher than I would think. I workout with a trainer 3 days per week and it claims that I burn the same amount of calories on those days that I do on days that I relax. The high activity tracker is also off. I play indoor soccer and it will claim that I was only active for 5 minutes after I played soccer for an hour straight and it does the same after an hour with a personal trainer. It's impossible the know if the sleep tracking is accurate or not but I will assume that it is also off. I wish that I would have spent a little more and just purchased a higher end device.

    Poor Tracking

After doing A LOT of online research I decided to purchase a FitBit Flex. What pushed me over the edge was my scale died and being on an active weight loss and diet program to get my pre-baby body back, I missed it and needed one! I decided to get the FitBit Scale (Aria) which I love. LOVE. So I decided to splurge and get the Flex to go along with it. I HATE IT. I've only had it for a day, and I absolutely hate it - so much so, I don't even want to give it a few days chance. It is not accurate at all - and I even set my settings to be less sensitive as I've read here - but I logged over 100 steps driving into work today. Umm, really? Brushing my hair? Logged steps. On the floor playing with my son? Logged steps. I was really curious about the accuracy, and it's new, so I kept checking it. I'm very disappointed. According to this I've logged over 1500 steps already today - there is NO way possible. I've even counted a few times and double checked and it's far from accurate. Keeping the scale - taking this back tomorrow (I left the packaging and receipt at home). I wouldn't recommend. I think I'll wait until they create one that will be more accurate and track other activities like cycling. Most of my exercise isn't walking anyways, and seeing as how inaccurate this is - it doesn't seem worth the investment.

I loved the concept but this device is too expensive not work properly. It did not track my fitness activity which is what I needed. Was able to return to best buy with no issue.

    Not terrible while it lasts

Band broke within 6 months, battery won't hold a charge for more than a few hours after 8 months. The charger that comes with it has been extremely difficult to use since day one. It also doesn't have as many features as the newer models. Don't waste your money.

Not bad, but my husband returned

I bought this as a gift for my husband. I knew he was interested in it, and he seemed surprised and pleased with the gift. He tried it for a day or two and ultimately decided that it would complicate his life rather than streamline it to have so many stats to analyze.
