It is a shame Google purchased fitbit, this company could have taught google a thing or two. This watch surpasses the pixel in every way, last up to 7 days, does everything a smartwatch should, and for half the price of those 24hr smart watches from Samsung and Google.

Watch has some great features that the others didnt. A few things that arent great, the charger stinks, Ive had to replace it 3 times over 2 years. Also there is some glitchyness withcthe screen where i will lose the display at times. The band for your wrist will tend to pop out from the sides of the display, because the rivets wear down and dont stay in securly after a while, so i have gone through probably 4 or 5 bands because of it.

First of all the quality is top notch. Finally a nice feeling and looking silicone band. The Sense has a beautiful stainless steel frame in a very light and classy looking gold. The “button” is now more like a sensor. Some complained about it in their reviews but within 15 minutes I was a pro and have never had to double or triple try to use it as it always works on the first attempt.
The BPM on the heart tracking sensor is amazing. When I used a competitors watch it was all over the place and sometimes not showing at all. The heart zone points push me to get to my goals. The EKG/ECG is great as is the EDA scan which helps you track how you handle stress throughout your day by placing your palm over the watch. I have been on my 3rd day and I’m still on the initial charge with 56% battery left!! I am very pleasantly surprised. My wife is selling her Apple Watch on eBay in order to be able to buy a Fitbit Sense from Best Buy too! Soon we will be able to compete against one another daily. Great stuff. Home run from Fitbit!

I switched from a different wear OS smart watch to Fitbit sense, and this watch is really good. Very good at detecting steps and also activities that you do, including different types of exercises. Detects your heart rate week too. Also great sleep tracking. The size of the watch is very good, easy to read display and does not feel heavy or anything. Keeps me motivated to do more, to stay healthy, and also track my sleep so can try and make sure I get good night's sleep. The smart alarm also is very helpful and tries to wake you up during light sleep and not when you in deep sleep, so you don't wake up feeling groggy.
The interface and everything is much more smoother than wear OS watch I had and it does what it's supposed to. Also love that the battery lasts for almost a week without needing any charge. Would definitely recommend this watch if you serious about staying healthy and having better wellness. The phone features work great and also love that it has a speaker for phone calls and Google assistant.

I was an early adaptor of FitBit and have always loved them. This Sense has been nothing but trouble. For the first couple of months it was great....then slow charging set it. Every morning Sense was dead or at 10%; sometime a charge would hold for 30 hours. Finally I got a new charger. That seemed to correct everything....good fast charging. Back in business. Until now: I constantly get a "Slow Charge" signal and nothing I do will correct it. Many mornings it will not connect....multiple resets of the watch and the iPhone, and constant plugging and repluging the charger and it will finally connect and sync...a day or so later and I have to start all over again. I am now working on my third charging cord and can't escape the "slow charge" message...4 to 6 hours to charge. I now use it to try to monitor steps; not good for anything else.
What happened FitBit? You have really let this long time fan down.

Happy with Fitbit Sense

Very happy with the Sense model. It is an improvement over the Charge 5 and Versa 2 I had previously. While the features are not much more, the band design is better. The Charge 5 band frequently came off. I do not think the Sense 2 warrants purchase yet. It isn’t much different than Sense so I am fine with getting a lower price. I get almost a week on battery charge. It doesn’t seem as long as the Charge 5 though, but that makes sense with the larger display. I also like Fitbit Premium and have been on it a couple years.
What I will be watching for is overall battery life. I was not happy with the Versa 2 and its battery dying in less than 2 years and being too difficult to replace.

First, the reviews posted the first day or two of this being released are irresponsible - you could not have given this watch a chance as most of the new stuff takes 3 days to even start recording and longer to get a sense of how to use it.
For me, I previously used the first Versa but was 99% sure I was going to the Apple Watch 6 since they were adding sleep tracking. When the Apple Watch released and the battery was left unchanged at 18 hrs, I flipped back and forth for days on it vs. this watch, the early reviews on the Sense really worried me, but finally decided to go with the Sense and thought "hey, I have 45 days to return it." Here are my thoughts:
The reviews really hit this watch on a few things that really concerned me:
- Heart rate tracking inaccuracy - I immediately updated this to the new firmware when I set it up and have not seen issues with the HR tracking. I have compared to a heart rate strap and have only seen 2-3 bpm differences, but nowhere near some of the reviews. Given Fitbit changed the HR sensor, I can believe they had a firmware issue with it over they delivered a flawed sensor (they would have tested this given it was a major change). I trust many of the reviewers and that there was an issue, I am just not seeing it on this firmware.
- OS lag - The Sense is more responsive than the Versa 1 I came from. Is it as zippy as the Apple Watch OS? No. But, I will take the ~4 days of battery with a little lag over 18 hrs and a super fast OS. The OS has been fine IMO.
- Removal of the button - This one I kinda agree with. I am not having any real issues with the "button" on the Sense, it takes some getting used to, but I would absolutely prefer the old physical button as it never had an issue.
- SpO2 tracking - This one I agree with. I like the Fitbit SpO2 watchface and use it but it is silly that you must use that watch face to get SpO2 readings. Other complaints that this only tracks at night and not on demand - that may be an issue for some, but I am fine with just a daily reading as how often do you need real-time readings?
- Not knowing what to do with the health info - I kinda get this complaint also, but I have to say I really like what the Sense does. Could it be better? Sure. Do you need Premium? No, you don't NEED it, but the watch is probably better with it. I really like heart rate variability, breathing rate, and the EDA sensor (although it may be more for forcing me to take time to do guided breathing as opposed to the actual numbers you get back). Skin temperature tracking I am not totally sure what to do with. Stress management score is a bit murky on how it is calculated but I like that they are aggregating data and simplifying an interpretation of it instead of needing to make your own judgment on sleep + resting heart rate + stress, etc.
- My only other small complaint is the new band. It is ok, but I much prefer the old sport band with the latch and hope third-parties make one for the Sense. This one is a bit clumsier to get on and off and I just worry we will be back to the band lasting 6-9 months before something breaks on it like the early Fitbits.
- And for battery, they say 6 days, I do NOT use always on display and have not tested the Sense to run it all the way down, but it seems to be dropping a bit over 20% a day, so I would say the battery is 4+ days which is exactly what I got on the Versa 1.

Watch is great. Easy to see even in daylight. My old charge 2 was Impossible to see in daylight. My only problem is the plastic band. So far I have not found a reasonable leather band to replace it. Battery life is good and like my old charge 2 it syncs well with my phone. I also like the phone finder.

Great upgrade from a FitBit Versa

I wore a Fitbit Versa (v1) for about 4 or 5 years and loved it. Finally, the battery started not to hold a charge and needed to upgrade. At that higher price of the Sense I looked at the Apple Watch and others but came back to FitBit mainly because of the battery life. I do really like some of the new features. It seems like the sleep monitor is more accurate as is the exercise monitor. Having built-in GPS is also really helpful for Hikes where I may not take my phone with me. Battery life is about 5 to 6 days depending on how I use it (obviously the always-on display does impact battery, but still 3+ days). FitBit Pay works well and I was able to setup two Debit Cards from some not so well-known banks which I worried about. It is just a hair bigger than my old Versa and I did add a screen protector which I needed as I am pretty hard on the body of the watch. Overall I am very happy with the watch. My only complaint is the Haptic button is not great but I have gotten used to it. I can see why they have gone back to a real button in the new version, but once you get using the haptic button is works fine. It was just a little odd at first. I don't use the ECG stuff much but it seemed to work when I tested it. Oh finally I connected with my iPhone for calls and the other night I was clearing snow off my truck after work and my cell was already in my truck and I got a call that I had to take. I was so impressed with how clear the call was coming from my Sense and the caller said I was clear to them too. It was blowing and snowing and honestly, it was perfect to be able to answer the call in a pinch and complete the call without stopping what I was doing.

Well made, comfortable to wear and a definite step up from the Versa 2, with a bunch of new features. The most obvious is the ECG sensor; it is fun to take an ECG whenever you want! It has a temperature sensor, which is great, but be aware, it only takes your temperature overnight, and even then it only gives you a measurement in the morning of how your overnight temperature varied from your baseline average, it does NOT give an actual temp reading in degrees. If you are familiar with the Fitbit ecosystem you will probably love this; but be aware, it is more health and fitness tool than smartwatch. It does NOT offer the kind of smart features that the Galaxy Watch 3 or Apple Watch 6 offer. So if you want something focused on your health, it is great, with multiple days of battery life and a rich phone application with lots of data and features, especially if you opt-in on the Premium package. But it does NOT do the fancy stuff that others can do smart-watch wise.

I really like this version of the Fitbit. I've had Fitbit in the past and was not super happy, as had continues issues with heart rate/sensing and screen going blank (Versa). This product seems much improved and higher end, seems accurate and I like the free trial of the Fitbit app add-ons included in my purchase. The Sense is definitely good for someone who wants in-depth sleep tracking and health/mental health tracking and aids, which is what I wanted. I don't care much about the calorie or step counter, but this does have those functions and seems accurate. Worth the $$ and BestBuy was cheaper than FitBit site for the same product.

I should start explaining that this watch is not the jack of all trades. It does many things but not in the same league as the Apple Watch or Samsung Watch. It focused on fitness and health so if that is more important to you along with great battery life, this might be worth looking into. If you want it to do everything, look elsewhere.
Pros:
-Looks great
-5 days of battery life
-Great screen
-Accurate fitness tracking
-GPS
-ECG / Temperature tracking / SP02
Cons:
-No offline app support
-Sp02 tracking only works with one watch face
-Fitbit pay is half baked & missing banks
-Lack of app support
-Limited music support
-Limited phone integration (notifications, alerts, etc)
Use:
This watch is great from day to day. It is a little more functional with an android than with iOS as you are able to respond to messages with android, iOS will only give you alerts. The screen is kind of choppy, it does not bother me as the great battery life is better than a fast processor in my mind and it does what it is supposed to do.
The ECG app was just added and it works well. It is kind of hard to view results in the Fitbit App though as it is buried in menus. The EDA scan is neat but doesn't really tell you much that you might not already know about your stress levels.
GPS works great with workouts but does use more battery life than normal. Charging is easy with a little dongle that magnetically attaches to the bottom.
I was really impressed with the temperature tracking. It takes a minimum of three days to kick in so it can set a baseline but it tells you how your skin temperature varies from day to day while you sleep, a predicter of you getting sick potentially.
The app and phone have a large mindset on stress levels, sleep health, and overall fitness. I prefer this over the do-everything apple watch that I switched from. It keeps you focused.
My biggest complaint is the lack of offline app support. The Fitbit app has to be online to sync with the watch. This is usually not a big deal in today's world but I work offshore from time to time and do not always have a cell signal. The watch stores five days of detailed info but after that, it only stores daily totals for 30 days which is pretty weak. I would much prefer offline syncing for later upload to the server for more advanced results.

Use this so much more than I had my Apple watch. 2 words...battery life.
It is great. Apple watch I had to charge every single night and if I forgot, too bad so sad. For the fitbit I can go like a week without charging, maybe more? I don't play around too much with the apps. I do like those as well, I am just bad at keeping up with stuff. The sleep stuff and the heart stuff I look over the most. The mental health feature is also pretty cool but i dont use it often.

I bought this for my mom, who is in her 80's, but wanted to test it against the Samsung Smart Watch 4 that I had just purchased. They were very similar and comparable, but enough of slight differences that kept me from liking it better. I did prefer the square face over the round Samsung (though it wasn't as comfortable) and I LOVED the battery life, but I thought ease of using apps and widgets was harder that the Samsung.
Different story for my mom though! She wore it less than 24 hours and sent me a picture of her wrist. She developed a bruise under the watch that was bigger than the watch face. I don't know if she was sensitive to the sensors that were constantly running, or if she had a reaction to the medal, but the bruise was bad! Just want to throw this info out.

The Fitbit Sense is an excellent fitness tracker that combines advanced health monitoring features with sleek design and ease of use. From the moment you put it on, you'll notice the high-quality construction and comfortable fit that make it perfect for all-day wear.
One of the standout features of the Fitbit Sense is its advanced health monitoring capabilities. With built-in sensors that track your heart rate, skin temperature, and oxygen levels, you can get a complete picture of your health and fitness status. Plus, the Fitbit Sense offers stress management tools that help you understand and manage your stress levels, which is crucial for overall well-being.
But the Fitbit Sense is more than just a health tracker. It also offers a range of smartwatch features that make it easy to stay connected and organized throughout the day. You can receive calls, texts, and app notifications right on your wrist, and the built-in voice assistant means you can control your smart home devices or get answers to your questions without ever taking out your phone.
Overall, I highly recommend the Fitbit Sense to anyone looking for a top-of-the-line fitness tracker and smartwatch. It's packed with features and offers exceptional value for the price. And with its sleek design and comfortable fit, you'll never want to take it off!

A faithful iPhone user, and enjoyed my apple watch until I got a new phone and it wouldn’t sync. With fitness now my top priority, this watch is perfect and gets the job done. Tracks my steps, calories burned, sleep, and transfers it all to the app. Battery life and charge time is amazing! Since we don’t get the additional perks being an iPhone use, helps with the battery life. My phone is always with me so the fact I can’t read my texts is fine.
