I love my fit versa. It looks and feels great. Used the fit pay, works great. Use the pandora app to listen to my music on my wireless headphones via bluetooth works and sounds perfect. It's not a Iphone watch so don't expect it to be.

I love it. It’s sleek looking and has great features. I’m still learning, but love it. And I like that it comes with two bands and the charging is much easier than the Blaze.

It gives me pretty much all of my notifications, would love for it to have a built in speaker to answer calls, but still even without it's a keeper! Loove it!!

I went from a Wear OS watch to this and couldn't be happier. Physically the watch is much more comfortable (especially after buying a 3rd party Velcro strap off Amazon. The stock strap will rip hair off your arms, guys). Operationally it does everything I was looking for - fitness tracking, basic notifications and music controls. Lastly, the battery life is fantastic. 3-4 days easy. The only negative is that this Versa 'special edition' isn't that special. The only advantage it offers over a regular Versa, as far as I can tell, is paying for things with your watch. If you're like me and don't do that, save $50 and just buy the regular Versa.

Does What I Wanted it to Do

I wanted this more as a smartwatch than a fitness tracker. My job requires me to stick to a very rigid schedule that changes a lot, so I needed something to notify me of where to be and when. I just make a schedule in Google Calandar, set it to notify me, and it syncs with the Fitbit which quietly vibrates throughout the day. I also love that it can have alarms and timers independent of my phone so I don't have to have it out as much at work. I can even quickly reply to texts with emojis and few pre-fab replies that are customizable and easily changed. The fitness applications are actually pretty nice. I'm more aware of how active--or inactive--I am on different days. Things like the pedometer are fairly accurate, but I've found it's a little wonky if worn on your dominant wrist. Be sure to wear it on your nondominant wrist if this is accuracy matters to you. It comes with two different bands, one silicone and one fabric. I love the fabric one, but options are nice. I wish the charger was less bulky for when I forget to charge it and have to bring it with me in my bag. But this is a small gripe as it does last 2-3 days on a single charge, and that's after using it a lot. My two real gripes are, one, it sometimes turns itself on after I've turned it off. I haven't figured out what exactly triggers it to start up, but it seems to have to do with movement. And two, it occasionally shows me an old notification for no reason, mostly text messages. I'm thinking it has to do with opening the text before the notification syncs between the watch and phone because there is a few seconds delay, but I'm not certain. It's a little hard to figure out straigh out of the box, but after a few days I figured out it's different features. I like how customizable it is, but I wish I do more of the customization on the watch instead of having to use the phone app. All and all, I'm happy with my purchase, and it's a great basic smartwatch and decent fitness tracker.

I’ve been using this Fitbit for close to a month now, and I have really enjoyed using it. The display is nice and bright, and there are a lot of interesting watch faces available. You can use it to track workouts using GPS on your phone (the Ionic is the one with built in GPS), and that’s good enough for me because I don’t go exercising without my phone anyway. It can also get notification from a variety of apps, not just calls, text or calendar, and you can customize which ones you get. It keeps me from missing my wife’s phone calls. There are a limited number of apps that you can install on it as well. You can also set vibrating alarms if you are willing to wear it to bed. Unlike some other Fitbit devices, you set them directly on the watch. The vibration works well to wake me up but not my wife, so I can get up earlier if I want to. If you pay the extra $30 for the special edition, you can get a mobile payment option if you have a bank card that supports it. It’s nice to have but isn’t supported by a lot of banks. It also comes with both the small and large bands, so you won’t have to worry about buying the wrong one. It’s kind of a pain to change the band, but I was able to do it. The watch is slightly slow. It’s not painful, but loading your “Today” function to see your stats is not instant. There is a splash screen that you have to wait for when you use an app. Trying to rearrange the apps on the device is possible but painful. The exercise tracking lets you customize what stats it shows, but it never seems to save what you customized for the next time. Also, be careful what watch face you use as some will drain the battery faster, and definitely don’t leave the display on always on with exercise or something open in the FitBit app that may use WiFi. If you do, it will suck the battery life down quickly. It’s possible to get 4 or more days out of a single charge. Still, overall, I’m happy with this and would definitely recommend it for someone wanting a smart watch but not wanting to go for something more expensive.

I was out of state in Montana when I bought my watch, the Best Buy there was amazing and so helpful. I went to buy the Fitbit Versa without Fitbit pay, it’s what I budgeted for. But when I arrived at Best Buy they only had the special edition. So I thank them and was going to leave, but they helped me out being that I was only in town for a week. They brought the special edition down to the price of the normal one since they didn’t have that one in stock. I did want the special edition but I honestly couldn’t justify the extra cost to myself. So thank you Best Buy! On to the watch it does take about 30 mins to set up, but it tells you up front about that so I was ready for that. I absolutely love the watch faces and how simple and how LOUD(detailed) they can be. The option of apps is great and being able to move them around to organize or remove them is wonderful. Although I do find that the water log app needs improvement I have to be in my Fitbit app for it to update(refresh) on my watch. Not a big deal but inconvenient at times. Other then that it’s been absolutely amazing I love it much better then my Blaze and that says something as I loved my blaze. I find the watch battery to be about 4 days maybe 4.5 days. It charges fast as well about 20 to 40 mins to fully charge from 1/2 battery. My watch hit 50% battery after 2.5 days of wearing it from full charge. I turn off my sync all day to save battery not only on my watch but in my phone. NOTE: the nick on my watch in the pic is my screen protector I have on my watch. I bought it separately and I always put screen protectors on my watches for this reason. I’m such a klutz and always hitting my hand/wrist on things.

My wife loves her Versa. She really likes the color and the band. The notifications from the phone to the watch work well, especially the ones that shows when a new photo of the grandchildren was posted online. She has been feeling better since tracking her steps daily.

This is a great value for a fitness watch. Step tracking is awesome and keeps you reminded when its time to walk. The sleep tracking option is highly accurate and helpful too. Battery life is excellent. 4 days easily between charges. Probably depends on what watch face you download but there are many to choose from on that point.

I previously had a Pebble Time and hated when FitBit purchased them and shut Pebble down. I wished they kept the Pebble and just added a FitBit app, and the Versa feels like they made that come true. I started using the original FitBit Flex years ago and loved its tracking, price, and FitBit's customer service. I upgraded to a Charge 2 HR because I wanted a FitBit with a display and heart rate tracking. The device was great, but I wished it were waterproof. It also did a crappy job of call/text notifications. I didn't always get the notifications and it was a pain to read on the small screen anyways. When the Versa was announced I jumped on it after reading previews about it. Not only does it look similar to my old Pebble Time, but its notifications work and I get FitBit tracking, heart rate, and waterproofing! The interchangeable bands are not as good as the Pebbles, but I am glad that they are semi-easy to swap out. You don't get as great a selection of watch faces as the Apple watch or some Android Wear watches, but the price and features of the Versa are hard to beat. Multi-day battery is also a big win over Apple or Android watches, but the bulky and proprietary charger is a bummer.

    Great Product, not swimproof

I love my Fitbit. It lives up to the hype. However it is not waterproof, shower proof, nor swimproof. My watch stopped working at splish splash in the kiddie pool... also if you wear it in the shower don’t get soap on it or push any buttons while it’s exposed to water. I will say that it’s rain proof...like a light rain. Drizzle proof. It is drizzle proof. A fleck of spit is safe on your watch. You get the point. Watch works great as long as water doesn’t get in it. I will attach a photo of actual water in the watch. Fitbit did replace my watch for free though.
