The music is ok and the rhythm/game aspect to it is fun. The biggest downfall is that it tells you to do jabs, straights, hooks, uppercut, etc... it does not actually recognize any of these moves. You could sit in a chair and shake the joy-con to get 100%. I play it for the exercise and I enjoy the challenge of trying to follow all the combos correctly. I expected the joy-con to be able to sense more of the motion but I truly enjoy it and I have gotten ton of exercise with it. I think that how much you enjoy it will depend on your personality and wether or not you are bothered by it not actually scoring what you're doing. Other than that it only has one stretch routine that it repeats every time you stretch and this seems like very lazy development to me. Overall, it is not worth the $50 price so while I would recommend it, you probably want to wait for a sale or a price drop.

I purchased this to switch off/in addition to my usual Daily Burn workouts. It is fun to play and can make you work up a sweat. However the comments made my the 'trainer' are repetitive and I am not sure how accurate it can tell what punch you are throwing and when. Someone stated the voice is off, that is incorrect. I assume they dont play many Nintendo games. Although the music is instrumental only which kind of sucks. Overall its a fun game to work up a bit of a sweat. I just wish everything about it wasnt so repetitive.

Pros: Fun, easy to learn, motivating, and you can set your own personal goals (like length of workout, target areas, etc.) Cons: Sometimes it doesn't register when you're doing the moves, especially in the more difficult/faster routines. Also, I wish they would add more songs Ultimately I'm glad I purchased this game, and I've been playing it almost everyday to get some exercise in my busy, stressful life!

Great game to workout with. You get to learn different boxing techniques and break a sweat in the process. Sometimes though the tracking can be off so you can miss a punch even though you through the punch on time. There is also some lag when docked which can lead to missed punches as well. I have adapted well so it does not bother me as much anymore.

Fun game. Keeps track of your progress on a daily basis. Very easy to learn the moves required. Must have rhythm to have the workout work effectively. A great motivational game that is also fun for everyone in the family to participate.

Like in the days of Wii Fit, with a focus on challenging motion control boxing activity! Fun game to get you moving and inspire you to check in with daily goals. The music selection isn't really to my own personal taste, but turn it down and turn up your own tunes for your own personal enjoyment. You can challenge a friend in a virtual boxing ring too. Your arms will be soar the first few days, but worth pushing ahead and burning the calories. You can pick your own trainer and as you progress, more clothing items for them are unlocked (and more boxing combinations). The most activity you can get on your Switch right now. Wish they had a boxing glove accessory to put the Joy Cons in! It's a challenge, so do it!

If you enjoyed the stepping and boxing type routines in Wii Fit, you’ll love this game. The routines are actually really well done, early on many of the things it has you do are pretty simple just teaching you the ropes, but once it adds in evasive techniques it really becomes the workout game it needs to be. If utilized properly this is a great tool that’ll shed some calories easy, is easy enough to follow you can set up the Switch in tabletop mode and have something up on the main TV to follow along to as well. I’ve been doing this as part of my morning routine with watching the news and it’s great.

Fitness boxing is a great way to get moving and incorporating exercise into your day. It does start out a little slow by getting you used to the basic moves. The best thing is getting the moves right and keeping form. I was worried about it getting easy or doing the same thing everyday. The daily workout changes just enough to stay challenging. There's also the option of free training after your daily workout. It does reccomend resting at least an hour between workouts. I a little put off when the moves don't register. I not sure if I'm not doing the movement wrong, could mostly likely be the case. I've used this program for about 2 weeks and I'm really happy. I've lost 3 pounds so far but that's with exercise and a change in diet habits. Going to keep at to see how far I can get.

This game is actually a fun workout. It's replacing my current workout videos. The instructors are all neat and the music selection is current. The selection is short though, but you could always just mute the game and punch to your own soundtrack. The workouts do make you sweat, and you have the option to do daily workouts at 15,25,35,45 minutes. There is also a free workout where you can choose the intensity of your own workouts. Now the real question, does it replace a "true workout"? I don't believe so. It can give you some decent cardio, but if you are expecting more, that's kind of it. There's nothing that forces you to get Perfect hits, and it's up to you to push yourself. If you wouldn't consider any type of video workout a workout, then this isn't the avenue for you.

The game is great and fun for getting yourself active. The personal trainer is cute and motivating. My only issue is that it’s sorta hard at times to learn how to properly do a move and the game doesn’t always register the moves correctly. Aka you can be doing it wrong and it says you did it right. It’s great way to get started with exercise gaming.

One of the few exercise games you can get for the Switch that doesn't require anything extra except your joycons and a little of your time. It's a rhythm type exercise game (think guitar hero and boxing), you can work up a sweat with the game. I would say this is a decent alternative to going to the gym especially with the issues going on in the world today and stay at home orders, or on days you simply don't want to go to the gym but still want to get in a little cardio. It gets you up off the couch and moving.

First things first, I bought this game to get myself moving during the COVID-19 lockdown. I've been physically active for a few years now and I can say this still makes me feel like I'm getting a workout. I can feel it the next day, for sure. So, I would recommend this for anybody looking to sweat and move! I would give this product a 5-star rating. However, it has one flaw: not every punch or duck executed was registered by the joy-cons. I'd say less than 0.5% of the actions didn't register, but it's enough that it bugs me when it happens. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the game or with the hardware. Again, let me state that this game is fun and I would recommend for anyone wanting to stay active while stuck indoors. So, while there is a minor problem with the joy-con action, you can still get an effective workout.

This game is making me sore each day that I play it and it does a good job mixing up the daily workouts. It is probably best as a supplemental workout for those that are more physically fit, but it is helping me with my motivation and I’m having fun woth it.

The game is quite simple but is good to burn some calories and do some exercise at home. Has quite good number of songs (just the track sound no voice) and several combinations of exercises. Do not expect this to replace the gym but is a good game and definitely will help with cardio.

Fitness Boxing for the Switch is a great and fun workout. The exercises will start off easy and don't feel like much but the intensity can be increased, the song speed can be sped up and you can add more moves after the demos. All of these options help in creating a workout that suits the player. Although I have found this to be really fun I do have a couple of issues. The first is that the motion control feels a bit delayed, which can mess with the rhythm aspect of the program. Since it isn't really a game I can give it a pass but it is a little annoying. My other issue is that it can be a bit repetitive. The trainers do not have many lines and there are only 20 songs. Luckily the trainers and music can be muted if you wish.

I got this for the kids so that they could get some activity instead of just pushing buttons. boy did they get a workout. I thought they were just out of shape but I tried it out and you get a good work out from it. there's a few different modes like free mode, daily mode and one other one. its a good daily exercise routine, about 30 min to an hour a day is some good activity. you also unlock songs as you go along. its not just throw a punch either, it shows you some technique and you have to actually follow how to do it to get credit for it. it gives scores too.

Super intense, definitely sweat after the end of each one. The weird karaoke instrumental versions of the songs are disappointing but you don't really play this game for the music alone.

First I think the msrp is a little high for this software. Second the game doesn't always recognize joycon motions so you have misses or non-perfect hits that you did the motion for. Soundtrack is instrumental and generally does okay for the beat. Voice acting for the trainers needed like 6 more takes, and playing dress up with them is dumb and unneeded. That said, we've put in a lot of work and exercise and it is paying off, so like I said it all depends on you.
