  • Garbage. Buy a decent mat that ships flat!

    Quality mats should ship flat. Floortex says their mats ship flat, but they don't. This came rolled and the unroll pressure is no joke. You could get seriously hurt! There is no universe in which a $240 polycarbonate chair mat should have to sit out in the sun for days and still not flatten. THESE CANNOT BE USED IMMEDIATELY. If I wanted to deal with these kinds of issues, I would have purchased a cheapy pvc mat and known upfront what I was getting into. Never again with Floortex. This garbage is going back to Best Buy! Additionally, the material feels stiff and fragile, like it could break at any moment. Definitely does not feel like it should have ever been rolled. My last floor mat shipped flat and lasted forever. If they still made them, I would have gotten another one of those instead.

      Thank you for providing feedback on the Floortex Ultimat polycarbonate chair mat. We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with this mat due to unrolling issues. Due to the size of this mat, I can confirm that this mat will ship rolled. However, polycarbonate is a strong and durable material that will lie out flat immediately after unrolling, unlike traditional PVC mats that will require up to 72 hours to lie flat.

      We can only assume that based on your review and without seeing the mat, you were potentially shipped a PVC mat by mistake. PVC is a softer and flexible material compared to our polycarbonate chair mats. Our polycarbonate mats should lie flat instantly, polycarbonate is known as a memory polymer, meaning that when shipped rolled, it will always remember its shape and does not require any heat or weight to lie flat. We strongly recommend getting in touch with Best Buy’s customer service who will look into this matter for you.

      We still hope that you will consider us in the future if you would like to buy another chair mat.
