Dixie travels t entertain the troops during wwll , sheshows why she's one of the most beloved actress now days. Caan shows his bitterness during this film, making milder looking awesome! This is not a actual portrait of wwll , it's more about the troubles of this couple outside of the stage.

This movie has been a favorite for years and I was still using my VHS version. A Bette Midler fan this movie does not disappoint. I love the singing and dancing. The movie progresses nicely with strong character and story development. A must see for any fan.

I have always enjoyed these two actors, and recalled seeing the film years ago. Was glad to find it in the bonus bin at my local store. A fun way to spend time and reminisce of days gone by.

Betty is once again out woes her self. This is a fast moving very entertaining, great music and fantastic proformance, Betty is hands down the best performer ever. She is strong funny and pops out with a very surprise ending. A must have movie.
