I bought this camera to replace on just like it that lasted 2 years. I really liked the first one. Tech support at the company was good when I got the first camera, but now there are really long hold times, 2 out of 3 reps were down right rude so I ended up returning the camera for a refund. It was just too frustrating dealing with tech support at Foscam.

The camera is a value camera. setting it up on my local wireless network is simple. the picture is as I expected. grainy and low resolution. but its fine because the camera is inexpensive. trying to control and use the camera on an outside network or on my iphone was a challenge. I ended up calling the help line and he was able to get me connected quickly. Kudos to that guy.

This is a great camera at a great price, easy to use. Is wireless and mobile, and the app for your phone for peace of mind! Would definitely recommend to those who use babysitters and pet sitters.

I tried for over a week to connect it. It even gave me a virus on my computer. It told me to temporarily remove an option I have on the account that was protecting my computer. And after all this it still didn't expect the download and I had to reboot my computer to factory reset after having it for 2 years and my warranty of course expired just a few months ago. So sorry I wouldn't recommend this product. Glad I only bought one to try it out first.

This is good choice for monitoring purpose and had competitive price. Though Video and documentation available, initial setup is looking bit difficult. Still I need to try remote view option but wi-fi connectivity looks good.

The only thing I can complain about is they should tell you more detail on how to set it up for your phone app

Was easy to setup and does exactly what I needed. I even downloaded an app for my phone to use with it.

Good camera as my puppy cam. Can talk to her via the speaker out jack connected to my bose speakers.

I love this camera although the setup was kind of difficult. I would still recommend this to anyone searching for a cam to view their house or babies room.

I purchased this camera so that I could keep an eye on the house while we are out. I tried using the IE browser for installation but ran into problems with Active X trusting the certificate and then blocking the installation. I recommend using Firefox as your browser and then “Push from Server”. Go to YouTube and search for the camera model that you have purchased. YouTube has a variety of videos that will make the installation a lot smoother. Plus, some of them show you how to set up port forwarding so that you can view it from anywhere on the internet. I used my android phone and it works fairly well, but there are a few hiccups with the apps… However, the apps are free!

If you're looking for a baby monitor this will do the trick and you'll be happy, although $70 is a bit pricey for a baby monitor. if you want to do any of the more complex options, like view the camera from anywhere off-premise, motion detection, video recording, email alerts, the setup is way too difficult. i'm pretty tech savvy and I've been dealing with port forwarding and DNS servers and a bunch of other BS for the past two weeks and still cant get this thing to work properly. the instructions are limited and are in broken english; the web-based software is outdated and buggy. sure, there are youtube videos you can watch to help with setup, but there are 100 versions of this camera and the setup is different for every brand of router and every browser. it's a cool idea for a beginner looking for some surveillance but if you don't have hours upon hours to sit through tech support calls then you might look elsewhere.

I have 3 of these camera's set up at my house. I can view any of them from any computer, or smart phone (With internet or use of an app) Full control also. Motion Detection very useful for when your at work, and you want to make sure no one is coming up to your door step to steal packages! Also useful to use inside to keep an eye on pets or children while not at home.

With basic computer and networking knowledge not hard to setup. With the disk someone not computer savvy could easy set it up with little help probably needed. Make sure you configure DDNS and make sure appropriate ports are open on router and enabled on Modem.

it is the best tech gadget I bought in my whole life. I have been looking for a camera to monitor my new home. I bought this at best buy, It picks up any movements everything in front of home. Nice and easy set up with my router. I use to watch my home from my work and watch my kids coming home from school. I would also like to buy one for my back yard. It would be nice it comes with some motion sensor light, because it is very limited detection at night.

Spent an hour trying to get it set up wireless. Worked great when it was connected via Ethernet cable but would never connect wireless. I even had my internet provider check my router to make sure that I was inputting the correct info.
