Reaction time to your touch is a little slow. But not real bad. I have read about the battery draining fast. At first it did but like it all other watches I had before, charging at night is normal.

I have purchased this from Best Buy at 89USD (have used BB Reward Certificate, so value really went down further for me) and have been using this for past 3 months. Pros: 1. Snapdragon 3100 chipset is the latest and best processor for smartwatch from qualcomm as of now and it's full potential is not unearthed yet. May be google needs to focus on it's wearOS platform to realize and utilize its 3100 full potential. 2. Has all the features that it supposed to have and function all the operations albeit slowly. Google pay, receiving mobile notifications, answering calls all works well. 3. Sync up and connect with mobile app quickly and set up is easy enough. Stable connection with bluetooth and wifi. 4. interchangeable band offers customization strap options. 5. compatible with ios and android both. water-resistant too. 6. Mic and GPS included ( main reasons for my purchase), thus can work independently while working out. 7. Magical price point. All the cons part mentioned below are getting rid by some other smartwatch options (not single watch but some are improving in some areas) but those are above 250$. What you can expect less than 100$ smartwatch. If you want to shell out 250 - 300 USD, you will get rid off some of the disadvantages mentioned below (remember, one smartwatch can only replace some cons part but not all). No single smartwatch can overcome all the negative points yet achieving to have all the positive points outlined. Cons: 1. WearOS by google is really slow as compared to ios, fitbit os and samsung gearOS. Google has not been concentrating on their wear OS and lack of enthusiasm from them pushing this os experience to its near bleak. The wear os software experience need to be optimized. 2. Sometimes, Button and swipe navigation is not working, whether due to extreme slowness or non-responsiveness, it is difficult to understand. 3. proprietary non-wireless charger. Need some hours to fully charge it which is longer than fitbit or samsung smartwatches. Full charge in the morning can lasts you only 1 day, you can extend it till max 2nd day evening if you use optimized mode and turn off some of the battery consuming functions. 4. heart rate monitoring is not accurate. I found discreet difference in this smartwatch in the reading while using some other measuring device. 5. not great for fitness activity tracker. Google fit is a mess. Sensors are not accurate and even software was not designed for good fitness tracker although SPORT version suggests to have active accurate mode. 6. Battery Battery and Battery. Will last 1 day max in full mode. Understood that having gps sensor in the chip, difficult to give 5+ days battery life like fitbit does (fitbit does not have gps and can not work independently without mobile, if fitbit was not paired with mobile, it's an dumb equipment), even apple watches barely lasts 1 day as equipped with all sensors despite heavily optimized by ios. Still I would have expected 2 days of battery life out of it. Conclusion: So, in a nutshell, if you want to experience smartwatch world and able to accept some of the shortfall and also do not want to spend too much on merely a watch gadget, I would happily go for it.

In general, it's functionally equivalent to smart watches costing several times more such as Fossil's own gen 5, only in a somewhat plainer package. The internals are similar, based on the snapdragon wear 3100 - the most current and best performing chip for Android smartwatches at this time. It has enough responsiveness for the companion role it serves and fair battery life (at any rate it's hard to squeeze more out of a physically small battery with current battery tech). The watch can even be customized with other 22mm straps, so straps other than the silicone strap that ships with the watch (in a choice of colors) can be used to suit your style if desired. Changing the strap is made easy by Fossil's inclusion of unlocking levers in the back of the strap at each spring-loaded rod that clips into the watch body. I was prompted to pick one up to use Google Pay, particularly in light of New York's MTA phasing out of MetroCards in favor of contactless cards (or phones/smart watches). Once set up the feature worked as expected. Otherwise, the watch offers convenience in displaying notifications without the need to pull out the phone and in doing so offers somewhat more security for the phone itself. Calls can be answered too (as long as the phone is paired with a bluetooth headset or a mic-equipped headset is plugged in, the phone can stay in the pocket); since the caller ID shows up on the display calls can be filtered as well in a way that can't always be done on bluetooth headsets without a watch. This particular watch does unfortunately require a proprietary non-wireless charger. To Fossil's credit, this charger is simple and it charges quickly. The back of the watch magnetically snaps to a circular charger and a full charge can be done in a bit under two hours. Since a full charge can last a couple of days topping it up for less than that can keep it running. However, it can make the purchase of a second Fossil charger helpful if not strictly necessary, while the inability to top it off in a pinch using the wireless power share feature of some new phones is an inconvenience. This is also true of other Fossil watches though. The Wear OS experience is pretty clean. The essential functions are achievable with swipes in different directions, minimizing the need to make precise touches on the small screen. I only need to enter a PIN code on a cramped number pad once a day since the watch stays unlocked as long as it's worn, only locking automatically when taken off.

Been using for a couple of weeks.. Heads up if you have wifi on and tilt to wake up. You will get a solid 4 hours. Turn those features off you will get 8 plus.. Wear OS is always preferred when using a Pixel Phone.. Works as described would recommend for a person looking for an inexpensive smartwatch with all the features.. NO voice calling only caveat.

So to make this clear this is no Apple watch or Samsung but being in construction and wanting something nice that I don't have to worry about it getting ruined or scratch its a great watch. basic quick text and alerts. Also, I use google fitness more than anything so its a great watch to have for the price.

My first smartwatch, I wasn't sure what to expect. The UI on this device is simple and easy to grasp. However, using it you can sense a bit of lag between your touch and the screen's response. It's possible the device simply isn't powerful enough to keep up with rapid scrolling through the menus. The color of the band is good, the device feels sturdy but comfortable on your wrist. There's lots of slots in the band to adjust it to various wrist sizes, and I believe you can even purchase new band colors and swap them out. I may look into this. The notifications are the best feature of this watch, I can be at work and ignore my phone without anxiety because I know any important notifications are piped right to my wrist. I'm not a fitness nut, so I can't speak on this too much, but there's a robust suite of apps for the fitness lovers out there to play with on this watch. In all, this is well worth the $99 if it's your first smartwatch, it has all the essentials you'd expect and the entire package is satisfying to wear and use. Would reocmmend!

This is very light weight to wear. Runs on wear os so you will have some useful applications for the watch. But feels slow compared to the old wear os watch zte quartz. Battery life is quoted as one day . Good for casual users who prefer notification and charge every night .

Not a bad smartwatch for $99. Would not have paid the original $275. Large bright screen. Easy to use buttons. Biggest downside is the battery life. Definitely needs to be charged every night and may need a little boost during the day. Excellent value at $99.

Smaller and lighter weight than many Wear OS watches. Battery will make it a day if you don't do too long of a GPS run. Also if you turn off lift to wake and always on time. Overall too hard to get a guaranteed day out of it so I returned.

Big improvement over fitbit ionic. Wear OS is still a class below Apple's offerings. I lucked out and purchased it at $99 during a sale. I wouldn't be willing to replace it for much more than that price point.

My Fitbit died and I needed a replacement. There are pros and cons between the two, but as I use Fossil Sport more and more, the only thing I miss from the Fitbit is the longer-lasting battery. Going from 3-4 days to 1 full day is different, but I can live with it. Great Smartwatch!

Bought this on sale and it's been a great watch for work. I work in the ER and my smartwatch broke so I needed another smartwatch but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for something that may get messed up on the job. This watch syncs to my phone, keeps up with my step count, has a great stop watch and timer feature that us nurses use during codes and CPR etc. Amazon has several protective covers and screen protectors to go with it also!

If you just want to experience how Google wear os is and it's integration with Android phones then this is a good watch for the price. I bought it in a deal at $99. It was great but I some how felt my 2 year old Fitbit charge 2 does the same expect having a fancy screen and displaying maps or any other media. Also the maps on this is dead slow compared to other watches in the same brand. So if you want to have a goodb experience then go for premium fossil smart watches.

I am basing my review on the fact I paid $99 dollars for this Fossil Sport smart watch. I recommend it highly at this price. The display is very bright with 5 settings from dim to very bright. The watch is very light and uses plastic and aluminium just like the Apple iWatch. Some people would say it feels cheap but if you want to keep the weight down it is a strikes a good balance. You can expect to get a full day worth of battery power with GPS and Heart Rate Monitor enabled. However with WiFi and Bluetooth enabled it will drag down the battery quickly. You are going to need to enable and use WiFi very sparingly while enabling Bluetooth most of the time. The GPS works good but keep in mind if you use GPS in conjunction with Google Maps your still going to need your phone for the watch to download the Map. Also, the heart rate monitor works well but you can't leave the watch band too loose or the heart rate monitor won't detect. All in all I am happy with my purchase and recommend you not spend too much money on a smart watch since they get obsolete fairly fast.
