I love the aesthetic of the counter-depth fridge, but the ice maker is definitely on the smaller end. This additional ice maker in the freezer compartment is really nice when guests are over. Only critique would be that the shape of the ice is that of a common ice maker and doesn’t match the small cube like shapes I receive from the main ice dispenser(I prefer the cube shape much more)

Worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We decided to buy a french door refrigerator with out a second ice maker in the bottom freezer because the models that came with a second ice maker were priced a lot higher than adding the ice maker later. This was very easy to install and is a great upgrade so we never run out of ice. The in door ice makers in french door refrigerators aren't very big.

It is a bit slow however with paired with another Ice maker , this will give you plenty of ICE for a family of five. It was only $99.00

When in the house he informed us he didn't know how to install. Set up another installation date. After 5 more days an install team showed up to install. Informed us we were sold wrong ice maker andwould have to order the correct one and it would cost us another 50.00 and wouldn't be in for another 3 weeks. Still waiting. All you get is a help center when you call Best Buy. You cannot reach the store or manager.
