My mom needed to replace a very old standup freezer. We selected this Frigidair based on the recommendation of the Best Buy staff. It's smaller than most standup freezers, and is super energy efficient, as well as being frost-free. Love it.

The freezer holds temp well- I checked with a reliable thermometer at different times of day before using due to a few negative comments. I haven't observed any temp fluctuations, even with the hotter weather. We've had it for a month with no issues. It's in our garage so we don't hear it in the house at all. It is slightly louder than the same brand freezer we've had in the basement for 8 years. Not sure if it's location, but certainly not noisy or annoying. Happy so far.

we purchased this freezer for our basement because we were ordering 1/2 a cow butchered from a farmer. It's the perfect size and good value for the money. spacious interior. storage on door is a plus....since not all models offer door storage anymore

ordered this for my mother-in-law to replace a larger chest size freezer! this is just the right size and easy for her to get her food when she needs it!

did lots of research and this was a great size upright freezer for my basement. I love that there is an inside light and big adjustable shelves for large items. there are also racks in the door

We have only had the freezer a couple of weeks but we are happy with it so far. The only complaint that I have is that it is kind of loud. But it is not in the main part of the house so I can live with that. It looks nice and keeps food frozen. That's good enough for me.

The overall size is ideal for the spare freezer need. The storage capacity is adequate and the floor pace needed is minimal. The frost free feature was a must. The door shelves and the main box shelving are well placed and sturdy. The interior lighting is excellent.

I was looking for a medium sized upright freezer, self-defrosting, and this is just perfect for my needs. Plenty of shelf and door space, a bright light, and I don't have to climb inside to get my food like with the chest freezer I had before.

I love this freezer. After shopping around for a freezer for two months I decided to go with this one. The reason I picked this one is because I love the size. It not to big not to small. But it’s deeper then freezer that are bigger in size. That was my main reason why I bought this one. It is loud but I would assume you will hear some type of noise from any freezer.

This freezer is the same brand and similarmodel to one previously purchased 9 years ago, that performed well. It is the right size for my needs and was available for quick delivery.

This freezer is nicely lighted, roomy with well designed shelf and door space, and so far works just fine. Down side is the motor is not just loud, but runs at a really annoying pitch. I don't recommend installing it in your main living space. Ours is in a lower utility room and I can still hear it when it runs (although my husband cannot).

We have had this unit for about a month and so far we like it. Only issue is the description says "which features 5 built-in shelves" this is not true there are spaces for 5 but only 3 wire shelves and the bottom of the Freezer

I bought this freezer to go in my garage so I'd have room to freeze food items I use all the time when they are on sale and so much cheaper. I also use it at holidays for extra storage. It made some very odd, loud noises when I first got it, but after a few days it settled down and seems like the perfect solution - not too big or too small.

This freezer was the best for the money by far! Frigidaire has been a favorite for a long time and this freezer is an example of why!

Nice freezer. No problems.... Control for temp. is in rear inconvenient, you must move food to get access if necessary. Keeps temperature at consistent level. Freezes fast. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because interior was smaller than I expected. I replaced it with a freezer of same cu. ft. Delivery men were excellent.

I’ve always wanted an upright freezer, and this is great one! Enough space to do bulk shopping and save money. Even comes with a lock, which is particularly important if you need to store in garage.

Our freezer is stored in our basement and works great. It runs quietly, keeps our food frozen, provides lots of space, and with its upright position, allows for very easy organization and viewing of all products stored inside. Great value.

What I like: 1. LED interior lighting and Exterior power light. 2. It can be locked. 3. Effective shelving. What I would have liked that it did not have: 1. Wish door were reversible. 2. Has mounts for an additional shelf, but that shelf was not part of the deal. 3. Would be nice if it had wheels for moving/dusting behind. Also, these freezers have very thin exterior walls nowadays, so it is easy to dent them. Mine had slight waving/denting on the right side - perhaps from the factory or from transport.

Good freezer. Has a really nice inside light, very bright. Plenty of space. The only negative is that it's a little loud. I can hear it in the next room. Good value for the price.

This freezer works great. I love the indicator light below the door and the locking feature on the door. Very spacious and fits in my space better than traditional deep freezer.
