I have been pleased with this Frigidaire upright freezer. It is the perfect size to have as a spare to stock up on frozen foods. In addition to costing very little to operate (Energy Star rated), it keeps foods nicely frozen solid. The layout inside is spacious, and it holds quite a bit. It is plain and simple, without bells or whistles, and is a great freezer for my needs.

I had a freezer than was not frost free that's the main reason I got a new one so this is same brand almost same size just a bit bigger like it very much so far have had no trouble its runs quiet

Have been very satisfied with freezer. It has everything I wanted except the temperature control display on the front of the freezer. Couldn't see sepending another $100 just to get that feature.

Very large freezer and the door shuts tight and keeps everything nice. I love it.

The Frigidaire - 16.6 Cu. Ft. Frost-Free Upright Freezer provides plenty of room and does an excellent job keeping our food frozen solid even with the freezer being kept in our garage.

Great so far. Holds a lot more than we thought it would, could have gotten a smaller one. I like the shelves in the door which are more useful than our last freezer. The only down side is that it is louder than any of our previous freezers. It is in the basement so doesn't bother us too much.

We needed to replace a 17 cu ft upright freezer that was dying. We looked online and at other stores (including outlet and scratch & dent models), and found that Best Buy had this new Frigidaire model at a price that beat all of them. We have had it about a month now. It is working perfectly, has plenty of space, and runs more quietly than the old freezer that we had.

My husband was a big deciding factor in buying a freezer. He loved the style and ease of the interior. Best Buy matched prices and we were very pleased with the delivery time. The handle did come damaged due to shipping but Frigidaire sent one out immediately. The freezer has been very quiet and I have not had a problem.

GREAT FOR THE HOUSE, LOTS OF ROOM INSIDE AND QUITE

I live in WI and the freezer lives in my garage. Works great and runs quietly. My only minor complaint is that the power indicator light is at the bottom of the freezer, makes it tough to see, not a biggie though, just have to bend over a bit.

Great high efficiency freezer. Has several baskets which are really handy. Best Buy had the best price of anyone in extensive search, and was the only area seller which had this latest model, which had baskets (older models did not).

Very solidly build product with each to adjust leveling. Lighting is incredibly bright. A couple of the drawers are not the easiest to slide but not a deal breaker. Well worth the price.

I like the freezer, but this is only a temporary one until my new one arrives. This one was damaged and will be replaced. It has a lot of freezer space. I do notice condensation on the inside door when I open it. Do not feel this is right, maybe it is due to the door being damaged when they took it down the basement. Waiting for new refrigerator to be delivered soon.

We love this freezer so far. Fits everything we need it too and keeps it the temp it needs to be. Happy to find one that we could keep out in our detached garage during cold Pacific NW winters (other similar freezers by other manufacturers wouldn't allow surrounding temps below 40 degrees or so). If I had to change anything, it would be to have more shelves for the door and a key made out of metal instead of plastic.

This freezer is great for storing a LOT of frozen foods and ice packs, while keeping everything in view. I appreciate not needing to dig through stacks of packages like with chest freezers. The multiple shelves help me to organize meats, fruits, vegetables, meals, desserts, and the multiple ice packs I have in various shapes and sizes for my lunch bags, coolers, and aches & pains. This also holds large pizza boxes and the big food packs I get from warehouse stores.

I bought this needing a freezer primarily for meat storage. I wanted to be able to adjust the shelves to accomate different sizes of packaging. The adjustable door bins also make the door storage more useful than most freezers I looked at. The extra insulation keeps things frozen for a few days if the electricity goes out, as well as adding efficiency. Overall, I feel this is a very good freezer for the money, and was exactly what I was looking for.

Delivery was prompt and painless except getting through the bulkhead cellar door was tight. I suggest you thoroughly check your opening before purchasing a freezer this size. The freezer has been running for a month or two and so far I have no problems with its operation. It is a little loud as others have noted, but not too extreme. Also, the door hinge is on the right front only and the door seal is quite tight. Almost to the point you feel like it may tip over on you if you pull too hard. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and this is one huge freezer that will handle everything I could ever want.
