We searched on line for an upright freezer in the Best Buy website. We found a 20.0 cu ft freezer for a good price at said location. We called and got the information we requested and thereby purchased the freezer.
The freezer was delivered as promised. The delivery was excellent and the persons delivering it were very proffesional and careful. We highly recommend BEST BUY.

Got this as a gift for my daughter. It is big and exactly what I was looking for. If I was looking to buy myself a new freezer right now, this is the one I would pick for myself.

The alarm of death and flashing green light let us know something was wrong with our freezer. After trying the power off reset procedure several times and cleaning the dust off of the coils in the back, we ended up calling an appliance repair man. We had tried calling Frigidaire customer service but after cycling through the automated system, we were told that due to heavy call volume they could not take our call and promptly hung up. Heavy call volume ?? There must be a reason for that. Try calling their number and watch what happens. Anyway, less than a month after our 12 month warranty expired, the compressor has failed. A closed system which will cost half of what a new freezer would cost. We should have paid attention to the weird noises the freezer was making along the way but just assumed that was normal. Apparently not.

I like the space , and how it locks once you close it . Have to wait for a little bit to reopen again . Great feature as if you forgot to close it all the way , the light doesn’t come on

Great stand up deep freeze we are replacing a 15 year old Frigidaire with this newer model

The unit needs three more shelves in order to organize it. There is spots for them to be but, the manufacturer wants the consumer to pay extra for it.
Seems to me that if you would let the consumer make up their mind, weather to use all the shelves, it would allow the unit to work more efficiently being able to spread the load allowing the items inside to freeze more
effectively, because your not stacking warm products on frozen

Poor Service, poor quality

Died a little over a year. Paid for 5 year warranty. They claimed they had no service people and wanted ME to find someone to service the freezer, pay them and they would reimburse me within reason. I laughed. Told them that was their job that I paid them for. If I knew that I would have bought warranty directly from mfg, and advising if they couldnt repair to replace, After insisting for several minutes and telling them to get supervisor they agreed to send me a 'gift card' for price. I advised them I fully paid this and would NOT accept a 'gift card'. And since they could not replace I was therefore forced to shop around. They then agreed to mail me a check. Oh, and I had to 'ask' @ spoiled food, to find there was a process to get reimbursed for that. Bye bye HD.

Don't buy this. Mine stopped working after less than 18 months and the manufacturer's is only 1 year. My friend bought the same thing, it stopped working in less than a year and the manufacturer replaced it. This freezer is of poor quality

freezer erros out and stops cooling every 4-6 months. ruining a freezer worth of food. other 2 freezer in same garage don't ahve this problem.
