Incredible product. Cooled my apartment living room, very easy to install. I had a balcony sliding door and it installed perfectly. There was some dripping after 1.5 weeks of constant use, but the dripping would always be minimal (no tray required and had no impact on our floors). Would recommend if you need a portable ac!

I have purchased both an Insignia and GE portable ac unit, and though this Frigidaire is a tad more expensive (it's the bigger 550 sq. ft. unit; on sale for $419.99), it offers so much more. First, all three units blow really cold air! They are also good options. Just be conscious of rated area coverage. For the more nit picky things that I've utilized/noticed so far: 1. I think the build quality is superior (and much better looking) than the other two. The plastic feels more premium due to feeling less hollow. 2. This unit offers full control with your smartphone (wifi required I believe), which I find useful since I don't have to look for the remote (included) or walk to the unit itself to change the setting. Not offered by the other units. 3. I really like the filter icon that lights up when it needs cleaning/changing. For my other two units, I have to remember to clean them out, this one does, or should, do it for me. 4. Typically, and something not many reviewers discuss, is when the ac compressor shuts off, the units tend to cause a loud bang and vibration (can be an issue if you live above someone else). This is huge for me because I live in an apartment with thin walls, and my other units sometimes wake me up. This Frigidaire is super quiet on both the shut on and off!! Sometimes you won't even notice when it engages on/off. 5. Long window vent hose!! On my other units, the vent hose barely reaches my window. There is literally tension on the hose. The hose that comes with this Frigidaire has about an extra foot or so even when installed, which you can compress so it doesn't drag. The window mounts are very nice and easy to assemble compared to the other units.

game changer for our unconditioned house. Very happy to have this going in our bedroom in the summer time! Easy temporary set up, easy to control, and keeps us very cool!

I live in a third floor apartment that’s always hot and so far this is doing a great job cooling down my bedroom. Easy to install, too.

I purchased this from bestbuy.com in May of 2023. I used it for a couple of months last summer and then for this summer season. We traveled for 2 months last summer and 1 month this summer - so not really a ton of use. Well the unit just died, completely. I spoke with Frigidaire who repeatedly informed me that the warranty is only 12 months and refused to support in any way. They said these are not worth fixing as repair costs are more than a new one. They said under warranty they just send out a new one, because again, not worth fixing, but warranty is only 12 months. Basically these are disposable. Quality is poor and customer service from Frigidaire/Electrolux is worse. Don’t throw $500 away. Go with a different brand.

Great appliance , three things in one , this is such a great machine . Best money I ever spent . Would recommend to anyone in need of ac , air purifier or dehumidifier. Works fantastic !!!!!! 5 stars from me !!

I bought this open boxed and I am so happy. I like in a very hot very dry climate and the house I’m in uses evaporated coolers which do not work well in high heat. We bought this to help keep out newborn cool and it really does make a huge difference. It gets so cold that sometimes we do have to turn it off. Additionally it isn’t very loud at all. The house we have has the crank windows so i bought a different kit to vent the unit but overall I am so happy.

It works excellent, easy and precise installation. I use it in my main room and it freezes in a matter of minutes.

It functions very well and keeps both our 300 square foot upstairs rooms cool. It was a little challenging to install. The window kit and foam both did not fit our window sill but we made some alterations to make it work.

Keeps the bedroom cool during heat waves. A bit loud but cools down a room fast. Looks nice too!

This portable AC unit looks nice. It isn't very loud at all. I haven't tried using the wifi features. I just need it to keep my living room cool. Now, be aware, the window kit for this thing is awful. The vent tube fastens easily to the back of the unit. But the vent tube DOES NOT fasten to the window kit. We had to use small, metal L brackets and drill screws into them to hold the vent tube on the window. It was a major pain! The instructions from Frigidaire on the window kit were not to be found. The manual doesn't show how to connect the vent tube to the window. It's a real pain. This AC unit is not really powerful. It will keep a small area nice and cool. If it weren't for the horrible window kit, I would have given this unit 5 stars. It gets the job done for a small area.

This unit is working as expected. It’s a quality build and cools my 450sqft room well. The ability to control the unit via wireless internet offsite is an added bonus. The only ding I would give it is for the window ventilation setup. It’s very cheap plastic and mine actually was broken in the box. I ordered an aftermarket kit that was much more robust and handled a larger window opening. Overall you can’t go wrong with this unit.

Its hard for me to rate this. But I'll do my best. The unit itself was flawed. One of the clips for the window ended up being broken. When i installed it, unfortunately I had to use duct tape to make it stay in the window. (Which didn't work well and ended up having to be returned) As far as the functionality of the air conditioner? It was absolutely PERFECT. I tried desperately to make it work and was heartbroken when I realized I had to return it. Had there been another in the store, I would have simply exchanged it. That, unfortunately, was not the case. Unit: 0/5 stars Functionality 10/5 stars.

So far, so good. I wasn’t able to cut the window kit myself, so I had to find a local plastic shop that would. It was incredibly frustrating. If you don’t have a standard sized window, you’ll need to do that or have a saw.

Very happy with this purchase. It does an excellent job of cooling my large, top-floor bedroom.

Good to be cool again! Although I thought with this being 10000 BTU it would cool more than my oversized bedroom. But it keeps that very cold!!
