After a summer of working fine, it developed a leak in the sealed coolant lines. I noticed it was dead (no longer blowing cold air) on a Friday. I looked up where to take it on the Frigidaire website, the shop diagnosed the problem and contacted the company. Best Buy called me the next day with a confirmation number to make an exchange. It was a small hassle, but the manufacturer and Best Buy made it right--in the span of 24 hours. When does that happen? I'm impressed!

I love this little guy. Wasn't expensive. Cools my small bedroom very well, and it doesn't block out too much of the window. I needed to stay cool to get a good night's sleep when its hot, but I was worried a loud AC would keep me awake. It's not as quiet as central air, but the low whirr is easy to sleep right next to. No reason not to get this- it's a good little machine.

I'd recommend this product to anyone. Here's why: 1. Cost was low 2. It was very easy to install. 3. It cools the room very well without noise! The quiet running was a big factor for us, as this was installed in a bedroom.

I bought this at the end of May. For all of June it worked fine cooling down my bedroom which is about 120sq feet. Hi/Lo A/C, fan, and good temp controls and adjustable vent. Easy to install and not that heavy. I'm a bit of a weakling so it was nice that it wasn't too heavy. Also liked that it fit fine in my window, where my last one was too small. Unfortunately it's now the beginning of July and it's broken. I was wondering why it wasn't cooling the room like it used to, come to find out the styrofoam inside broke. And it's now blocking the vent. I'll be calling Frigidaire to hopefully get some service on this thing because it's just ridiculous that would happen. My recommendation hinges on whether or not I get decent customer service from them.

Bought this for our bedroom during the unbearable heat during this summer of 2012. The central air unit was struggling to cool the entire house and I was concerned about huge utility bills. I decided to buy the window unit to cool off just the bedroom when we sleep and to turn down the CA to conserve costs and strain on the CA unit. My wife and I slept very comfortably at night during the very hot nights. Good purchase and easy to install.

Let's face it, not the most powerful unit, but for the price, it is pretty amazing. Put this in one bedroom, easily cooled that bedroom, the hallway, bathroom and another bedroom with the help of a fan. Really good deal.

For the price it is a great value. It works good cooling my bedroom.

Decent air conditioner for the price. Expected it to cool down the room more, but what can I expect for that price. Still happy with my purchase.

I got it via free shipping 3 or more days earlier than I was told. Easy to install. Great value for the low price!

This unit was delivered to my apartment on June 20, 2014. I could not install the AC because the bar connecting the unit to the window arrived bent. So far to resolve this issue I have: visited my local Best Buy store (this unit is not in-stock anywhere in the New York City area), called customer service, and finally I had to a write a follow-up email (received a response after three business days). This has been the worst customer service experience I have had with a company. It is incredibly unlikely that I will be ordering from Best Buy in the future.
