Great dishwasher

Our other one, also a Frigidaire, was starting to show signs of different types of failure issues, so rather than try to fix one thing only to find I'd have to fix another it was smarter to replace a 10 year old appliance with a new one. I installed it myself, which was easy. Other than being a lot quieter this one cleans much better and leaves no odor or residues on dishes. Overall, very pleased and impressed with this dishwasher.

The motherboard quit on the old one, but I liked the model so much, I just upgraded it. I'm so used to the blue light on the floor to indicate it's washing, and the white light (previously green) to indicate it's finished. This one has three levels of drying, which is new and I like; no wet plastic if you use the Boost. And it has a third tray for utensils, which I now like. This is a nice dishwasher.

All the reviews were great at the time and it appeared to be a high quality machine. When we got it there were a few fiddly things we didn’t really need or felt added to the usefulness and was noisier than it should have been but could live with that. What we can’t live with is it not cleaning or drying the dishes. First off you will notice it does not dry. We pretty much prewash everything so it took a few more washes before we noticed it does not clean either. We checked everything was connected properly with no kinks or loose wiring, tried different cycles especially boost which takes forever and still doesn’t work, changed detergent and rinse aid, and even turned up the temp on our hot water heater - no fix. Sadly our cheaper plastic tub rusted tine leaking 10 year old dishwasher of the same brand got the dishes cleaner, dryer, and even quieter than this one. After reading the question posted for this machine I see it is not just a lemon but seems to be just a poorer design. Not sure what the positive reviews are about but I will have to replace this unit with something that will work, and forget the brand matching.

It's wonderfully quiet, it has much more usable space than my last washer and I like the floor light to indicate the finish cycle

The refrigerator was delivered but they argued about moving the old one and charged the wife $50 cash to do so. The dishwasher was to be delivered and installed the same day but when they showed up they refused to install it even though we paid for them to do so, so we refused delivery. We still don't have that or the stove which Best Buy simply cancelled the order with no explanation whatsoever. I cannot in good faith recommend Best Buy for any appliance orders, you will get billed but you may or may not get what you paid for.
