Replaced my 15 year old Frigidaire Professional gas range with the induction and convection. Absolutely love the ease of cleaning, have been using it for 3 months, can’t complain of any fogging or scratching on the surface. Getting ready to sell my gas range because I was holding on to it just in case I hated the induction. Pots and Pans I thought were induction ready weren’t, so I did have to buy a whole new set. Highly recommend HexClad if you are in search of a great pot or pan.

This is one of the best ranges I’ve ever owned all the way around. Easy to use, easy to clean, energy efficient and great looking device.

Best decision ever made- it's the Rolex of ranges, have gas at house but opted for induction - great decision

First warning: This range only comes with a 4-prong cord. I had a 3-prong outlet. The installer took my old stove and said he couldn't finish the installation until I had my plug changed. So I had no stove and a 200-lb paperweight in my kitchen. I complained to Best Buy and they gave me a 3-prong cord, put some installer notes in their computer and rescheduled them to come back. They did and installed it, but they had to take the whole back off the stove to do it. I tested the induction burners and they were working.
Then a couple of days later I needed the oven, and it wasn't working. I called Frigidaire support and they scheduled someone from Sears to come and take a look. The technician came and said he didn't have the information on his computer (some iPad-like device) and told me I had to call Frididaire for support and left. I called Frigidaire back on their support line and complained that their technician didn't do anything.
The tele-support person said that there was something done incorrectly and they'd have another repairman come out. I got an email that Sears was going to come out again, and I called back, because I was concerned that they said they couldn't fix last time, and was assured that it was because of a technical error before, and they should be fine this time.
Well Sears sent the same guy as before, and he still said he couldn't fix it. He acted like it was somehow my fault, and said he was going to complain to his manager and left while I was trying to get Frigidaire on the line.
I'm about 3 weeks without an oven at this point. The only reason this is two stars instead of one, is because the induction cooktop worked great during this time, so I'm trying to be balanced.
Frigidaire then scheduled a virtual appointment, which meant that I got called by a technician during a face-time like call and he could see what was happening when I tried to use the oven. (A few minutes where everything looks like it's working, but the an "Err2" code shows up, and the oven is still completely cold.)
Then after this call, he said he was ordering parts for another visit by Sears. (Actually, this guy sounded quite competent and at least seemed like he was trying to help.) I got an email for about $1600 of warranty parts ordered. (Which gives me a good idea of what it will cost when the warranty expires.)
I went back to Best Buy, to ask what my options were, because I have lost trust in Frigidaire ever being able to help me at this point. The manager helped me set up an exchange for another stove, even while Frigidaire/Sears was not doing their job as a backup, which I could cancel if Frigidaire actually fixed the problem in the intervening time.
Then that appointment was pushed back twice, apparently for parts delivery.
I decided to go back to Best Buy to just return the stove outright to Best Buy. I will give kudos to the manager at Best Buy, who through this entire experience was professional and doing whatever they could to help.
I am cancelling the repair order from Frigidaire now, because Best Buy has picked up the stove that had been causing me the headaches.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
