Phenomenal toy but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do love this toy but, I’ve experienced the humming noise with the one that I purchased for my granddaughter. I believe it’s from the batteries running down. I went ahead and took the toy out of the box and replaced the batteries so it would fully function on Christmas morning. I’ve also fiddled around with the three different modes. The demo mode (middle position) is the best mode to keep it on. The dinosaur is more interactive and responds better when you wave your hand close to its motion sensor points. I found the dinosaur’s actions and responses to spread out in LONG intervals when it’s in regular mode than when it’s in demo mode. When it’s in regular mode, the intervals sometimes made me feel that the dinosaur was no longer working. You may also find the battery life to this toy is very, very short. This toy is adorable and I’m sure my granddaughter will love it, but I was also a little frustrated with the buzzing noise, the short battery life, and it DID NOT come with any instructions. Other than that this toy is phenomenal, cute, and a keeper.
