Works great with a Fatal Flaw!

I use it on the finder scope with an app on my phone for pinpointing objects in the night sky better. For that it was working great… the fatal flaw with this Mount is the screws are that you adjust constantly for your phone and the clamp are all plastic. I don’t understand this because the rest of the Mount feels pretty high end, but those plastic screws… WHEN they break the Mount is useless. The one on the back of the holder for your phone just snapped right off and I wasn’t using much pressure or over tightening it. Hopefully Best Buy will let me return it. I already got rid of the box as I loved the Mount and was getting a bunch of use out of it till that happened. All it would take to solve this flaw is just metal screws. Simple! I would advise to look elsewhere.

Phone holder used with Celestron Telescope

The telescope comes with t phone adapter so this product is not necessary.
