Nice, compact dash cam. Good quality construction and good quality images. Screen is too small to review any recordings, but app helps with that. I have some issues connecting to my iphone, but it connects quickly to my iPad. That screen is much better for viewing. Had an instance where it came handy as we witnessed a hit and run. Unfortunately, it was dark and they passed on the left too fast to make out the license plate. Also, it's amazing some of the other crazy stunts it has caught on camera. FYI, I purchased a Garmin suction cup holder elsewhere which makes it pretty easy to put up and take down. Recommended and it doesn't break the bank.

Easy to install. Requires an SD card but it doesnt come with it. Sets up in about 5 minutes. App is easy to use as well

Great car cam. Simple to use. App on phone is easy to use and works well connecting and review videos and photo. Has additional features that are plus : lane departure , close to front car alert and traffic moving if you don't have it in your car. Although nice sometimes little annoying too sensitive ( can be turn off). Overall happy with it so far. I notice camera does get hot at the bottom when in use, but no issue so far, hope not issue during summe heat. FYI, micro SD card needed does not come with camera.

Great quality and very small and can be easily hidden from view while driving. Quality camera that does the job to protect us on the road.

I have always wanted to get a dash cam especially after I witnessed a hit and run accident. I bought a Garmin Dash Cam 46 from Best Buy and I love it! It was very easy to install and is very easy to use. You can also download the Garmin app and save videos to your phone. Of course, you can also download the images to your computer. If you do not have a dash cam, I would strongly encourage you to get this one!

Good daytime picture, just adequate night quality but that's to be expected from a cam this small. No recording issues, easy to use.

This little cam is as described by Garmin. Works well and was easy to install. Good voice control, easy to link to I Phone. Downloaded data works well. I bought two of them for my cars.

This is my first dash camera and I am very pleased with purchase. It extremely easy to use and takes great video!

First dash cam ever purchased and very pleased. So many dishonest folks on the road, so I felt the need to have video evidence if needed. Good quality video. Replaced video card with a larger one (more memory) but that's it. Initially had trouble getting it to recognize voice commands, but that is resolved if you just alert it first by saying "Ok Garmin" before speaking the command. Very pleased and it is used every time the ignition is on.

I like it because if it’s size. Very good picture quality And what I also like is the it alerts you when the car in font of your move.

Our second Garmin 46. These are nice, quality, unobtrusive units but for some reason they love to annoy you with useless interruptions (chirps and the like) while driving. Recommended only under the condition that you set volume to zero in setup before use. Last thing drivers need is unnecessary distraction! The app is better designed than others I've tried. Recommended but proceed with caution.

This thing is nice. It is small and easy to set up. You also can connect 3 additional cameras to get the ultimate video coverage.

the garmin dash cams are the gold standard in my opinion. this update is great blue tooth to your phone with the new drive app no more having to earch for the camera on wifi. voice control is new to the 46

This dash cam seems pretty solid. I like how it is held on with a magnet rather than a suction cup. I am new to dash cams and if I had to do it again, I would buy one that also includes a camera for the back of the car. I haven't had to use this dash cam for evidence on accidents or whatnot, so I cannot really rate it on that. Remember to buy your own SD card!
