Great Dashcam - Easy to Use - Crystal Clear Video

Garmin Dash Cam

There are times that it does not automatically start up with my van. Need to turn it on manually. Also sometimes connecting to it with my phone is a bit of a problem. All in all it works well.

Very poor quality for the price

Neither camera is able to connect to Wi-Fi reliably enough to upload videos to Vault as advertised. My router is one of the most powerful on the market, and every other device I own gets full bars in my vehicle. They got greedy selling junk hardware on this one.

Great when it actually works...

It worked for about 15 days, then stopped syncing with the Garmin Drive app, and the Dash Cam continues to reset every 20 seconds. Garmin support chat tried to help me troubleshoot, and now they will exchange my unit. I have the Garmin Dash Cam Mini 3 for my rearview, and it works flawlessly. If I were to do it over again, I would get two Garmin Dash Cam Mini 3s —one for the front and one for the back. They are simple, reliable, and bombproof.
