Prefer my old nuvi that garmin no longer supports. Found out after I put a new battery in it and couldn’t update maps.
Much cheaper construction. No case. Just touching the edge of the device causes it to switch to a different screen function. Not as fast or intuitive as Apple Maps. Bought it for redundancy and road and traffic alerts. Does that okay. If you’re a gadget guy or gal, go for it. Otherwise save your money and use your phone. You need your phone for most functions anyway. Was surprised that sometimes it took some time to acquire satellites.

Just what I needed. GPS works well, can use voice commands, interface with cell phone, and most important to my wife...backup camera. Great job of installation too.

I 100% rely on my Garmin when traveling to an unknown destination. So happy with it! It's reliable, user friendly, easy to operate and I highly recommend it! I travel alone and would get lost without using Garmin. My old one finally became so outdated that when I found this one, I didn't hesitate!

I normally use my cell phone for directions while driving, but it is old and would get hot and I was concerned that it would shutdown. Buying the Garmin was much cheaper than buying a new cell phone. It turned out to be a great purchase. I got great trip directions as well as directions to gas stations, shops, and restaurants.
Great GPS from the Top Maker of Navigation Device!

Very good GPS. I like that you can update the maps and firmware over WiFi, it connects to your phone via Bluetooth, and the traffic and weather info is accurate and up to date 98% of the time. The only issue I have is when I put in multiple stops and deviate from the recommended route, the unit won't show the updated highlighted route to the next stop . This only happens when multiple stops are entered and it's not a deal breaker by any means. Overall, this GPS is worth the money.

The Garmin - DriveSmart 66 was a huge disappointment. I bought it for a trip out to the Wyoming area. I had a list of places I was planning to go and wanted to add the addresses as favorites. Entering an address is still as convoluted as the older ones. You start with the numbers and work down. It defaults to the state it detects you're in, so it rarely finds the correct address until you change the state. Many addresses it couldn't find. One was next to Mount Rushmore, so they weren't in the middle of nowhere addresses. Google Maps had no issues with any of the addresses. I downloaded the map for offline use and used Google for the trip. I had a hotel in Casper, WY. All through Casper, the Garmin changed turns every few seconds, and the car on the map spun in circles. Several times, it said I was driving the wrong way on the highway. In other places, it would show that I wasn't driving on a road at all. I like the screen size, and the touch interface works like a smartphone. I had it connected to my phone via Bluetooth, and it displayed upcoming places like gas stations and restaurants. It showed a gas station coming up, and the next one was 90+ miles away, so I filled it up. There were many gas stations it didn't list on that stretch of road. In my opinion, it was a complete waste of money. It failed miserably in the one area it should've shined in.

Wonderful little device. Integrates nicely with Uconnect in my wife's little Fiat 500. The iPhone app to control it is easy to use, nicely feature and works very well.

I have been using Garmin GPS equipment for at least 3 decades.
I especially like this Drivesmart 66 version. Very intuitive and easy to operate. The "Hello Garmin" feature is so helpful.

I have been a Garmin fan for years and this product is a product that delivers. It provides live updates of traffic, easy update of the maps. The screen is wide enough not to block the windshield. Really a great buy

This is a Great GPS for the price; Great features and functions; Have it hard-wired in my vehicle so it's easy to remove when necessary. Bright and clear screen; Easy to read day or night.
Not for motorhome navigation. Can't add dimensions

This Garmin doesn't have the capability to input our RV's dimensions, so we bought it for that reason. The folks at Best Buy were great about taking it back. We bought the trucker version, and a knowledgeable Best Buy employee helped us set it up. For a car, this works just fine, but not for a motorhome.
