Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the fēnix 6X Sapphire Smartwatch's long battery life, durable build, and multi-sport capabilities. They appreciate the improved GPS accuracy and the scratch resistance of the sapphire glass. While some find the price to be a drawback, many believe it is worth the investment. Some users would prefer a touch screen and have concerns about the accuracy of the heart rate sensor.

Very nice upgrade from the forerunner 945. That’s that plus more. Instead of charging the watch every 4-5 days.... it’s now 21 days. After about a week or so, lowest it goes is 65-70% without having used the gps and/or music while exercising. Big screen and very durable so far. Bought a bezel off amazon to add to durability.

Very good battery performance upgrade from the Fenix 3HR. Only complaint is Garmin is still using a resin cover over the HR sensor which rotted out on my old 3HR, otherwise 3HR would still be working. With the sapphire model would be offered with a brushed bare metal bezel which would take scratches easier and could possibly be polished back out.

had the fenix 5x plus had some slight issues with it connecting with my bike components and upgraded to the fenix 6x. The sapphire edition is a must have my lay watch took a beating and the glass was still flawless with no scratches or chips on it. Love all garmin products. No brainer to buy.

The Garmin Fenix 6x Sapphire is a great Smartwatch

The Garmin Fenix 6x Sapphire multisport watch is a great watch for the money. It is packed with features found on smartwatches much more expensive. It monitors your heart rate, steps taken, stairs climbed, temperature, altitude, barometric pressure, GPS position, navigation (compass), blood oxygen level, speed, pace, distance, sunrise time, sunset time, stores and plays music and monitors phone calls, text messages, emails and other notifications. It lets you know when there is about to be a change of weather in your area, stores maps in your area, and can even be used to make purchases. All this and more, all contained in a fairly lightweight package. But be warned, depending upon how you choose to set it up, the notifications from you cell phone may become annoying. You may decide that you want to turn notifications off all together! It all depends on how you choose to set it up in the settings in the Garmin connect app. But if your looking for great value in a multisport smartwatch look no further.

I was debating between the sapphire and solar, but I picked up the Sapphire for better protection on the glass. The Heart Rate Wrist monitor is on point, comparing it to my other watches with heart rate strap. GPS is very accurate and quick to acquire.

I love this thing. It’s replaced my Apple Watch S4 as my primary fitness watch. Battery life alone is phenomenal. I’ve had it for almost 1 months and have only charged it twice. I use it daily for workouts. Very happy with this purchase.

Solid upgrade from the fenix 3. Battery lasts easily 15 days. The accuracy with triathlon has dramatically increased with the 6x. Very pleased with the stats and battery life.

I’ve been using this watch for a couple of months and it’s been great. Tons of widgets to download and add on, a great battery that lasts me 6-8 days on average between charges, and comfortable to wear. Really recommend this watch.

Sturdy watch long battery life. Easy to change the way it looks. Just make sure you buy the plastic cap that covers the charger port. If you dont you might have chaging issues later on. I did with the fenix 5.

Bought a Samsung Galaxy watch a few months prior bc thought the Fenix 6 wouldn’t be out for another year. Was already looking to sell the Galaxy bc of its smart functions and lack of outdoors/training functions. Saw a surprise advertisement on the Fenix 6, watched a video, read a couple of articles and pulled the trigger! Absolutely love the Fenix 6, all functions completely customizable, screen is easy to read outside in bright sunlight, gps acquires quickly. This watch is somewhat pricey but I love everything about it plus it prevented me from purchasing a separate bicycle computer.

What can I say, other than this watch is AWESOME. Large display, tons of information on your wrist. Looks great and feels good on my wrist. Very customizable and quality built too. Another item that I found to be true in my case, and on Fenix forums also, is that the complaint of the washed out blue look of the backlight for some reason does not happen with the sapphire glass, and the background is more black. In any daylight and especially in bright sunshine the display on this watch is crystal clear and vibrant. All in all it still is an expensive watch, but I love it and I'm very happy to own this product.
