Very good watch, I have been using it all the time, I don't hold back on power and it has lasted longer than I expected. Easy to read it in direct sunlight and in the dark. Garmin has made an excellent job on this watch. Only wish it would have NFC. Next watch I get will be another Garmin.

This gives me all of the data I'd ever want to know and is customizable and simple to use. I'm a Garmin fan and this model is perfect for me. I run six days a week but also weight train, hike and some other sports. I was able to add my other sports and track those too. The Garmin Connect app is simple to use. There are a couple of categories that lose me; one of which is Body Battery which doesn't make sense to me but I just ignore it. If you're looking for a great watch to track your activities accurately, this is it.

Great watch for an active lifestyle. Great for monitoring sleep patterns, Great for tracking your workouts, works with my fitness pal, withstands use in the sauna although not "recommended" by Garmin themselves.

This watch is great. It really nails how my energy level is with ‘body battery’ feature. Oh and that’s another great thing about the garmin watches in general is the app. I love all that data and graphs. I charge it about every 5 days. It would go a week if I wasn’t monitoring my blood oxygen while I sleep. Personally I believe it gives me good clues whether I really have sleep apnea or not. Love the course features and mark my position and backtrack. So even if you don’t have maps, you can’t get back. And there’s a free watch app you can get so you put individual maps. (Haven’t figured it out yet). I use it for walking, hiking, and bicycle so far.

Great product! I wore this for the Virtual Boston Marathon. It is user friendly and very light to wear. It links so easily to the smart phone. It's easy to read outside - even in the sun.

I got this as an upgrade to the Garmin 220 and it's a huge difference. It has so many great features that I actually use. I love that I can go for a run and get notifications on my watch so I don't have to get my phone out. The app shows a lot of useful information to track my training, including new items of sleep, Vox, respiration load of training, etc. It also charges quickly and stays charged for days. I would highly recommend for runners wanting to go to the next level of training.

Worked as my wife expected it to. Q quick lesson form our daughter and away she went. Works great. A learning curve - but it is one that is not insurmountable - just read and take your time.

I have been looking for an all around activity tracker with a focus on Runners for some time. I decided to purchase this device after doing alot of research and speaking to current owners. This watch is great and allows me to track all the aspects of my running workouts as well as multiple types of other activities. It also have a sleep tracker and many other monitors. The GPS works great and battery life is amazing. I run about an hour every day using GPS I usually have to charge the device once every 5-7 days. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reasonably price but full featured fitness tracker.

I have been using this watch for about a month now & am happy with my purchase. It was easy to set up. Battery life is way better than my old watch, & it catches the GPS signal quickly. I use it only for running and other cardio activities. This replaced my very old Garmin Forerunner 220.

As an avid runner, I've had two previous Garmin running watches and have never been disappointed. My husband bought this watch for me as my previous Forerunner was still in good shape, but he wanted me to have the latest model. The watch works perfectly, holds battery charge for days and syncs up with my iPhone with no issues. I have had no problems with GPS even after doing my long runs from the mountain peak down and drenched in sweat. This is definitely an awesome watch for the semi-serious runner!

Great purchase! Wish I had purchased years ago! I resisted taking the plunge for the longest but the sale price and getting tired of using my phone pushed me over. I think my fitness game would be even more advanced. Easy to use with many more valuable features than I previously imagined. The Garmin Connect App is really good and readily syncs with Strava and Map My Run.

To explain this watch fully, you need to understand this isn't your ordinary runners watch. This is basically a cross between a fitbit charge hr watch and a forerunner 220. You don't just run with it, to get the best benefit out of it you need to wear it all the time. Things like body battery and recovery tracking will require this, and it even counts steps too.
