Purchased the 245 as an upgrade to the 45s. Love the additional features like respiration, pulse-ox and training impact. In comparison for wearability and style I preferred the band and size of the 45s. The band on the 245 does not integrate into the watch face like on the 45s and the band material feels lower quality. I wear my garmin all day/night and I found the 45s a bit more comfortable for smaller wrists but as a novice runner I'm sacrificing the style preference for the added features. If Garmin ever decides to offer an "s" version of their 245 series it would be a perfect fit.

So far it's everything I need without having too much extra tbat I'll never need. The battery life is good and i can actually turn the backlight off instead of waiting for it to turn itself off. I have small wrists and this fits perfectly without feeling like im being weighted down.

My wife upgraded from 45s to this and loves it. Very easy to use for all her different workouts from running to HIIT. Keeps track of so much information, almost too much. Now she has a better watch then my old Garmin 225. Meh

An easy to use tool to track workouts, help achieve fitness goals, and monitor health stats. Interface is straightforward with prompt visual, audio, and haptic response. Good battery life, too - I charge it about once a week.

I love this watch. It hasn't left my wrist in almost 3 months. Great for planning runs, executing workouts, and the battery lasts me about a week running about 45 mins 5-6 times a week. The step counting is also much better than some of the other lower end Garmin devices.

I bought this watch for my husband. He likes keeping track of heart rate and other things. This was nowhere near the cost of an iPhone but has many of the same features. He loves it and will continue to buy Garmin watches in the future.

Has everything you need for new runners. Battery life is ok

This is a huge upgrade from my previous Forerunner 235. The software is more intuitive and quicker. I have been getting over a week before I need to charge as well.

I’ve been wearing this watch every day for over 3 months now. I feel like I’ve only had to charge it about 5/6 times. Heart rate tracking seems accurate when compared to a chest strap.

Hands down best activity watch I have ever used. Was using an Apple Watch prior to this purchase, and the transition has been seamless and well worth it. Definitely recommend the purchase, or even a higher model.

Very rugged durable watch. Bought this for my duaghter who is a cross country runner. She loves it, the battery life is really good also.

Great tracking, especially for runners. Easily connects to GPS, accurate recording of activities, and great training programs for those trying to reach certain milestones.

Super impressive smartwatch from Garmin. Tons of features! I really enjoy using this for running and counting steps. This is my first Garmin product. Big fan of their devices now!

Is a great watch for those looking to help them stay in shape or track workouts. Its not very large so if you have small wrists it doesnt look bad.

The Garmin 245 is a Fantastic watch. You never have to worry about any of your stats it's right there for you to see, this is an easy to manage watch very user friendly love love love it

Great product would give five stars but the battery life requires a little more charging. More Bells and whistles with up grade but this watch does what a long distance runner needs.
